Just published a short story on my blog. "A game of wormholes" is about predictive policing, rogue engineers and jumping in and out of history.

Thread on how Amazon treats its workers

Context:
Amazon full-time warehouse employees make $31,200 a year. Jeff Bezos makes that every 12 seconds.

Cost to give warehouse workers 2 weeks paid sick leave + pay bumps so they don't qualify for food stamps = 0.9% of Bezos' fortune

Quizás luego de Shadow and Bone.

@randwerk It looks really cool, honest.
But I somehow cannot stop wondering if you are subversively trying to criticize modern society, discussing the inherent futility of all human endeavor... or is it really just have fun & blow up stuff.

Playing around with dropping seeds and growing roots.
Might turn this into a game about caring for the soil, or/and an educational application.

@the_nomi Glad you can anyway answer while you have not yet woken up.

[🐄 🌪️ @suribe]

Does this look like realistic-enough, pretty-enough, root growth?
