@juliefairey@StephGunther It’s quite stressful for staff to make calls over who to give a free prescription to and absorb the costs to the business and who needs to pay.
@juliefairey@StephGunther Thanks for your support Julie. My parents go above and beyond for their customers and try to give free prescriptions as much as they can but as a small owner operated pharmacy it’s really hard. This is going to make a massive difference to our local community.
@deltablues_king I’ve been feeling the same. We were planning to move back to Auckland to have family support but have decided not to. It was a hard call.
After 25 years at the Garnet Dairy, Azeeza & Salim are about to retire.
The dairy's just along from the local school. A generation of kids have bought their walking-home treats here.
I live a k or two away, but everyone nearby knows these two - and their beautiful smiles.
@michaelwoodnz Probably has a complex about the neighbourhoods their family developed become hubs for the Muslim community in Auckland. Those middle class Indians and Arabs did lots for their property values so they should at least have some gratitude...
We thought 2017 was a big year! This year we’ll join the many parents who wear two hats. I’ll be PM & a mum while Clarke will be “first man of fishing” & stay at home dad. There will be lots of questions (I can assure you we have a plan all ready to go!) but for now bring on 2018
