Yes I’m sure Chelsea legally forced City/Maresca to put out false statements while paying penalties. You know, the same City who have dog-walked every opposition who have tried taking them to court (PL included). Definitely not just an Italian journo posting unofficial briefs to paint his compatriot in a better light.
The conspiracy has extended to Chelsea lying in club statements and tricking a whole football club and former employee to pay them compensation. With said former employee releasing a written apology. If you cannot be objective even in this scenario, why are you here?
I’m genuinely desperate for Lionel Messi to retire so I can finally enjoy a World Cup without feeling like FIFA is bending over backwards to hand it to him. The bias feels so blatant at times it’s actually disgusting.
People need to understand that we were close to getting nothing from Maresca to City move.
Maresca was hoping for a mutual termination just to be free. I don't blame him leaving for a better project, but putting our season on the line was selfish. He would've stayed till the end of the season before leaving.
But like I said, he wanted to make it easier for City by walking out and getting his contract terminated, but we refused to play by his rules.
Well played, Chelsea. It's not enough for what we lost last season but it's a lesson for poaching clubs that we won't let them mess with us.
