Surya Deva's Eight Verses: Eight Rays of Wisdom
1. "Sarva Deva Namaskarah Keshavam Pratigachhati"
"All prayers to the gods ultimately reach Kesava (Vishnu), who resides in the Sun."
Esoteric Truth: The Sun is the cosmic doorway through which all divine energies flow. Just as all rivers merge into the ocean, all worship converges in Surya, the sustainer of life.
2. "Surya Deva Namastubhyam Sarva Papa Pranashana"
"O Lord Surya, I bow to You, the destroyer of all sins."
Esoteric Truth: The Sun’s light is the purifier (Pavaka). Meditating on Surya burns away karmic impurities, just as sunlight dispels darkness.
3. "Dhyeyah Sada Savitrmandala Madhyavarti"
"Meditate always upon the Sun, the radiant center of the solar orb."
Esoteric Truth: The Savitri Mantra (Gayatri) arises from this truth, the Sun is not just a star but the cosmic mind (Chaitanya) from which all thoughts emerge.
4. "Narayanah Sakshat Surya Jyotih"
"Narayana Himself is the light of the Sun."
Esoteric Truth: The Sun is a direct manifestation of Vishnu, the all pervading consciousness. The solar rays are His divine threads (Sutratma), weaving the fabric of existence.
5. "Tvamadyo Lokanam Prakashakah"
"You are the primordial illuminator of all worlds."
Esoteric Truth: Before creation, there was only darkness (Tamas). The first light was Surya, symbolizing the dawn of awareness (Chidagni).
6. "Tvam Surya, Chandrama, Agni, Tvam Brahma, Vishnu, Maheshvarah"
"You are the Sun, Moon, Fire; You are Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva."
Esoteric Truth: The Sun is the Trinity in one,Creator (Brahma), Sustainer (Vishnu), and Dissolver (Shiva). His rising and setting signify the cycles of birth, life, and dissolution.
7. "Tvam Apamartando Bhati Vishvam Bhasayate Tvaya"
"You shine as the essence of water, illuminating the universe."
Esoteric Truth: The Sun is the Prana in all beings, the hidden fire (Vaisvanara) that sustains life, just as solar energy nourishes the Earth.
8. "Namah Savitre Jagadek Chakshushe"
"Salutations to Savitr, the eye of the world."
Esoteric Truth: The Sun is the
Third Eye of the cosmos, the divine witness (Sakshi). Meditating on Him awakens inner vision (Divya Drishti).
Final Revelation:
"The Sun outside is but a reflection of the Sun within."
When the external and internal Suns merge, the soul realizes its own radiance
Aham Brahmasmi (I am the Light).
In an Indonesian film, the Gayatri Mantra is transformed into a song. It's not recited in the typical mantra style we're used to, but rather beautifully sung, with excellent visuals that are both calming and visually stunning.
I just watched Sadhguru’s video on how Isha Foundation was attacked. The sheer extent of it was painful to hear. If he hadn’t actively and successfully tackled these attacks, I wonder if these tools of transformation would have ever reached me. I would have still been trapped under the influence of the Leftist-Marxist agenda—designed to enslave people, ensuring they never taste the freedom that Yoga truly offers.
Sadhguru listed everything they accused him and Isha of—stealing land, illegal encroachments, kidney trafficking (yes, you read that right!), misleading people, abusing volunteers, and more. The most absurd, calculated attacks. And yet, he stood firm, unwavering, handling them all one by one.
Then, he said something that hit me deeply:
"More and more people need to stand up, not for me personally—I don’t care what happens to me—but for the solution that is needed in the world. If you do not enhance what is good, then you are a contributor to evil. Those people who attack and spread negativity are at least doing their business, but those who stand by silently are even worse. If you see something good happening, you must stand up for it. If you think what we are doing is worthwhile, just spend three minutes to support it."
This is exactly what I feel. My friends often ask, “Why are you so intense about this? We get that you're happy with what you’ve learned, but why do you talk about it so much? It scares us.” Even my husband used to say this—though, not anymore. I think he has made his peace with it, and maybe, just maybe, he’s even considering giving it a try.
People keep asking, “Why do you need to promote it?” “Why are you charging money?” “Then it’s a business—how can it be positive?” And of course, the classic one: “Why do you volunteer for Isha for free like a slave?” (Yes, someone on X actually said this.)
Well, Sadhguru has already answered it all.
This message from him has only reinforced my intensity. If ever I had a moment of doubt (which I didn’t, honestly), now it’s completely clear. What happened to me through this journey was wonderful. And sharing something wonderful isn’t madness—well, it is, but the good kind of madness. The kind that’s for Dharma, for Desha, for my Guru.
Sadhguru also said something incredibly powerful—"don’t wait for a crisis to wake up. Be prepared." The war of narratives is real. If we don’t build the narrative of truth and positivity strong enough, then the ones with massive money and political backing will destroy it. But if we make this movement unshakable, they can do whatever they want—it will only make us stronger.
So, if this path has brought even a drop of positivity into your life, let’s spread it. Join the movement in whichever way you can. Because silence is not an option.
