@OnePlaceStudies @UkNatArchives You're memory for what is downloadable is much better than mine! @LazyLoverUK is far too used to just turning up and jumping on a machine in the building!
For those who require access to the digital content that is usually £3.50 you'll soon have access; thanks to @UkNatArchives for making this possible #ResearchFromHome Off the top of my head I'm thinking war diaries and probate.
We’re pleased to confirm that we will be giving everyone free access to our digitised collections very soon, but it’s taking our amazing digital team a bit of time to make it happen. (1/2)
Head over to The School of Surname Studies to view the talks and AGM from our recent conference https://t.co/W9QtgnFVF9 (you must be logged in to view).
@4TMLloyd @LazyLoverUK @Historylady2013 Hiya, just to let you know our committee meeting has been put back a week so that the new members can attend. I've not forgotten your offer & it is on the agenda :D
Hope you're staying safe and well.
AGM Committee Report: We need new blood ....
A new vice-chair as @Historylady2013 steps down immediately, a Webmaster & a Treasurer. Also will require social media as @LazyLoverUK is stepping down in six months.
But we also need new volunteers generally.
Thank you once again to all our speakers @GrandmasGenes @kmpoppe @liannekruger@SharnWhite and to all our lovely members. Here's to another great year & look after each other.
And now @SharnWhite gets to bring us some Shakespearean references with 'You think you are a Montague but maybe you’re a Capulet! A Rose by any other Name – Finding Ancestors who Changed their Names.'
and you have thirty minutes to go and get a cuppa and get settled before @liannekruger talks us through 'How to keep track of every note using @Evernote)
