@bdaking1919 @Kelly_Quinlan This wasn’t a thread on who accomplished more- it was whether Hewitt was a good coach. He ran the program in the ground waiting on his golden contract on the back half of his tenure. Gregory was a bad choice by a bad AD who thankfully is gone

@bdaking1919 @Kelly_Quinlan Pastner’s been a better X’s and O’s coach than we expected, roster mgmt has been an issue at times like Hewitt but for different reasons- Too many minutes for bigs w/Pastner (see end of Duke and L-vile 1) & he’s not recruited like we expected based on his recruiting at Memphis

@bdaking1919 @Kelly_Quinlan I recognized them- I noted if he was a better coach we should have done more/ been in the tourney more with that talent level. Gregory was a poor choice that we were stuck with mainly due to the horrible contract tied to Hewitt eating any financial opportunity to land better
