I have been a Devi devotee since birth, and Mata Rani has blessed every moment of my life with Her infinite grace. And after being initiated by my Guru, Shambho has become my breath. But for the first time in the last 8 years, my constant chanting has shifted from Shambho to #SitaRam, ever since I watched this movie.

From the very beginning, I was sitting with folded hands. There were moments when the reel felt more real and intense than actual reality. Those moments just hit you differently. Tears flow uncontrollably, and you experience the grace of the great Guru, Neeb Karori Baba ji.

My Guru often says that spiritual masters become more intensely available when they leave their physical body. Guru and His grace are beyond time and space. I have experienced that innumerable times with my Guru and after watching this movie, I have experienced it with Babaji too.

Director Dr. Vishal Chaturvedi @filmervishal ji deserves immense credit for bringing Babaji’s story to the big screen. Becoming a medium for such a being is not a small thing.

And kudos to lead actor Shobhinaw Satyaa for bringing the life of Baba alive on the silver screen. His effortless acting and seamless blending into the character are superb. He must have received Babaji’s enormous grace to portray Him with such depth.

Another high point of the movie is its music. You simply get drenched in ecstasy. The #Shambho song can drive you into a different state altogether if you are a meditator. #MaineTereHiBharose will melt you from within. The singers have made these songs penetrate deep into your heart and soul.

And then there are scenes that will remain with you long after you leave the theatre, Babaji meditating with snakes upon Him, the kadhi-chawal bhojan, Hanuman Chalisa in the jungle, Baba’s appearance, seeds germinating on His tongue, and many more.

Hanuman Ansh is truly a movie you can watch with your partner, parents and children together.

Don’t just watch it.
