Priyanka Vadra’s “Gau Mutra expert” jibe at IIT Madras Director V. Kamakoti is not just crude politics. It is the same language of contempt used by the Pulwama suicide bomber.
In his pre-attack propaganda video, Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist Adil Ahmad Dar (Waqas Commando) repeatedly referred to Hindus as “गाय का पेशाब पीने वाले” (“cow urine drinkers”) while justifying the murder of 40 CRPF jawans. That phrase was not random abuse. It was deliberate Islamist hate speech meant to dehumanise an entire community and glorify violence against it.
Seven years later, a sitting Congress Member of Parliament stands in the Lok Sabha and reduces one of India’s finest computer scientists, the man behind the indigenous SHAKTI processor, the Director of IIT Madras, and the former head of the Prime Minister’s AI Task Force, to a “Gau Mutra expert” because he once spoke about traditional knowledge systems and indigenous cattle.
Same slur. Same contempt for Hindu cultural practices. One used it to justify a suicide bombing. The other uses it to score political points in Parliament.
When the language of a Jaish terrorist and the language of a Gandhi family politician starts sounding alike, it is not a coincidence. It is a revealing continuum of disdain.
A few questions for Ms. @priyankagandhi, @INCIndia & @RahulGandhi:
1. As an IITian, I ask - what scientific or academic expertise qualifies you, Ms. @priyankagandhi, to mock the research of the Director of @iitmadras, one of India's foremost scientific institutions?
2. As a research scholar, I find Prof. V. Kamakoti's credentials speak for themselves. What are yours to pass judgment on his scholarship (other than being born into a political dynasty)?
3. Have you actually read Prof. Kamakoti's work before caricaturing him? If so, which part of his research do you disagree with, and on what evidence?
4. Since when did the cultural or religious origin of a scientific hypothesis become grounds for ridicule? Aspirin traces its origins to willow bark, artemisinin emerged from traditional Chinese medicine, and many modern drugs began as traditional remedies. Science tests hypotheses... it doesn't mock them because of where they originate.
5. Is ridiculing distinguished scholars @INCIndia's idea of promoting Viksit Bharat as envisioned by PM @narendramodi?
6. Why does @INCIndia so often reserve its derision for ideas associated with Hindu traditions? Would the same standard of mockery be applied to beliefs rooted in any other faith?
India's scientists and scholars deserve better than ridicule. They deserve evidence-based debate.
This is absolutely true. Insta bans posts which are RW. Heck it even censors images with such words like Hindu. A few months ago I had made this graphic which went viral on X, but when I tried uploading it to my Insta account - it simply would not even allow me to post it even after trying dozens of times.
It’s absolutely 100% rigged against Hinduism or Indian nationalism.
It’s impressive how you manage to insert both yourself and your personal sob story into almost every conversation.
A gentle reminder, though: you’re a film critic, best known for promoting fluff - not a nuclear scientist, brain surgeon, or someone engaged in work where the stakes are literally life and death.
And those “death threats” you and the Gen Z protesters keep invoking?
There’s every chance many of them came from other bored Gen Z users looking for attention, not the grand political conspiracy they’re often made out to be.
The defining conflict of 21st century India will not be fought over left-wing versus right-wing, elections, GDP, military power, or even religion. It will be fought over something that is much less visible to us.
Which civilization is teaching our next generation how to speak - and by extension how to think?
Is it the one that believes speech to be a goddess divine, an instrument of self-mastery, guided by dharma, satya, and the discipline of vāk?
Or is it the one designed by algorithms to monetize outrage, express emotion through sexual profanity, reward obscenity and humiliation, and convert every disagreement into a performance?
The cockroach protests on NEET paper leak will eventually be forgotten. But the deeper leak is draining our civilizational life force every day. It is because somewhere between the village Panchayat square and the infinite scrolling, we did not just import some new technologies. Our youth began importing a new moral vocabulary altogether.
And civilizations rarely disappear just because they are conquered.
More often, they disappear because they start forgetting the very language in which they once understood themselves.

In 1950:
SC list had 607 castes, today it has ~1200
ST list had 241 tribes, today it has 744
So where these castes are coming from?
If even after 70+ yrs, not a single caste has been uplifted via reservation, that itself shows "Reservation is a failed policy".
#EndReservation
Delhi Police has sought the death penalty for former AAP councillor Tahir Hussain and other convicts in the 2020 murder of IB staffer Ankit Sharma, calling the killing "heinous" and saying the accused "turned into butchers."
Ankit Sharma was murdered during the North East Delhi riots in 2020. The court has also convicted others accused in the case, including Nazim, Kashim, Anas, and Javed, for murder, kidnapping, promoting enmity, and rioting.
The prosecution told the court that Sharma suffered 51 injuries, including seven fatal wounds and 16 caused by sharp-edged weapons, reflecting the "rarest of rare" nature of the crime.
Ankit Sharma’s body was thrown into the Khajuri Khas drain near a mosque in the Chand Bagh pulia area.

The following people supported Tahir Hussain-
Vishal Dadlani, Rana Ayyub, Javed Akhtar, Amanatullah Khan, Ajaz Ashraf, Congress Leader Imran Masood, Swara Bhasker, AAP Leader Amanatullah Khan, Ravish Kumar,Rajdeep Sardesai
and others.
I again request the GoI. As these protests are resolved, India must:
- Ban social media for under 13
- Moderate social media for under 18
- Regulate social media companies
- Mandate a reporting tool under every post to GoI
- Setup a SM/M monitoring & response cell
- Study & research social media trends & Algo
- Take up propaganda on state media with countries
- Take up anti-Indian SM psyops with partners
- Monitor and control "finfluencers" farms
- Start units that can counter the infowar on India
And I hope India is using the current opportunity to study social media operations, organization, and algorithmic warfare of the adversaries on India.
To take the right corrective measures soon, understanding that adversaries and anti-india cabal have infiltrated SM companies with insiders.
So simple ad-hoc solutions like MPs, or even cyber armies, posting our narrative on Insta now is going to solve little, as algorithm will still suppress one side and amplify the other.

So GC students pay double penalty for sins of their forefathers 5 generations back. #Reservations is fine. But why do they pay huge fee? Note how we are asked to forget invaders who killed millions & keep quiet when some celebrate then!!
AI, Youth Liability and Internal Colonization
In my latest conversation with Vandana Mishra on Ask Rajiv, I examine what I believe is one of the defining paradoxes shaping modern India: the fine line between a youth dividend and a youth liability.
As artificial intelligence advances at an unprecedented pace and entry-level jobs continue to shrink, I discuss why India's dependence on exporting raw labor and managing foreign technology infrastructure risks leaving the greatest value addition with global corporate giants, while India remains primarily a consumer civilization.
The discussion also explores the realities of the global data center ecosystem—why merely hosting foreign servers does not constitute true digital independence, and what genuine technological sovereignty requires.
Another theme is the uncritical adoption of Western sociological categories such as "Gen Z" and "Millennials," and whether India needs frameworks rooted in its own civilizational history rather than imported narratives.
I also examine the role of data labeling and annotation in training AI systems, the long-term implications for India's workforce, and why I believe India must move beyond a service economy toward creating original knowledge, intellectual property, and indigenous technological ecosystems.
Finally, I share a preview of my forthcoming book, bringing together insights from five decades of transcendental meditation with philosophical inquiry and debate, along with ideas from my upcoming keynote, Meditation and the Hard Limits of AI.
I invite you to watch the full discussion and join the conversation.

When it comes to the reservation system, everyone goes silent—whether it’s the CJp, BJP, Congress, or AAP. The careers of millions of hardworking students are ruined because of caste-based reservations. Now, everyone claims to want a fair education system, yet they still insist on keeping reservation.
