The details and circumstances leading up to the incident remain subject to investigation by the appropriate authorities. In view of the ongoing investigation, it was inappropriate to have set out or characterised details relating to the events preceding his demise before they had been duly established through the appropriate investigative process.

Delhi, India. A music teacher from Manipur beaten to death at Kilokari under Sunlight colony police station, South Delhi. Chongtham Vikram has been residing in the area for atleast 10years in the area. He objected to loud noises and nuisance created in front of his house. What happened was around 7/8 people beaten him brutally. Vikram was living with his son and wife. His son rushed him to nearby hospital but he succumbed.

SC/ST क़ानून सुप्रीम कोर्ट और हाई कोर्ट के लिए अछूत है। रेवंत रेड्डी के विरुद्ध लगभग 89 मुकदमे अभी पेंडिंग हैं, ऐसा उनका चुनावी हलफ़नामा बताता है। ऐसे ही एक मुकदमे में रेवंत रेड्डी के ख़िलाफ़ 2016 में SC/ST क़ानून के तहत केस दर्ज हुआ था। राज्य पुलिस विभाग ने चार्जशीट भी दाख़िल की थी और उसमें प्रथमदृष्टया अपराध बनता था। लेकिन जब रेवंत रेड्डी तेलंगाना के मुख्यमंत्री बने, तब उनका क्वाशिंग पेटिशन हाई कोर्ट में सुनवाई के लिए आया और रेड्डी केस जीत गए।

मामला सुप्रीम कोर्ट पहुँचा। वहाँ भी प्रथमदृष्टया केस बन रहा था, लेकिन सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सिर्फ़ यह कहते हुए केस ख़ारिज कर दिया कि मामला “politically motivated” हो सकता है। ध्यान दीजिए, कोर्ट ने यह नहीं कहा कि मामला politically motivated है, बल्कि सिर्फ़ यह कहा कि ऐसा हो सकता है और मामले के मेरिट में जाने से मना कर दिया।
