As a former liberal…
I think the Right is fundamentally misunderstanding what is behind the current attacks on Elon.
I’ve seen a lot of rhetoric around how liberals just want to see everything burn.
This incorrect. It’s actually worse.
They believe they are doing true good in the world and that torching a Tesla creates an overall net-positive.
To get to this point, you have to fully believe a left-wing narrative about anyone successful and that is this:
If you’re successful, the only way you could have gotten there, is by taking advantage of someone else.
Being successful is akin to being a tyrant.
And tyrants must be punished.
Some successful people get out of the Left’s line of sight by saying all the right woke things, giving money to the right causes, sufficiently apologizing for their personhood… it’s strikingly similar to a religious ritual.
But there is nothing, absolutely nothing you can do, for supporting President Trump.
It is the great sin in the Left’s religion.
President Trump is so hated on the left, it’s nearly impossible to convey how high this level of hatred rises.
He is their literal devil, and if you dance with him… you are no different.
It’s upside down world of morality where anything goes if you believe you are fighting true evil, which the left FUNDAMENTALLY believes they are.
This is what the Right seems to be misunderstanding today.
The current crisis for liberals is watching an existential battle between good and evil, where they believe evil is about to win forever.
If you are good, and the other side is evil… then nearly every action to fight evil is justified.
Once you understand this, everything you’re seeing will start to make sense.
Omg.
Stephen Miller just gave every reporter in the White House briefing room a civics lesson over the narrative that Elon Musk is the “unelected President.”
This is so good.
@elonmusk Interesting, as the rest of the world can only use a 10% de minimus rate unless they can prove a higher amount. In no way can you prove that high an administrative cost, unless of course, your only funding is from the govt.
For three days a lot of the far left has actively rooted against America and argued we’d get nothing out of President Trunp’s demands that Mexico secure its country.
Well, how do you like them apples?
@charliekirk11@realDonaldTrump I could be wrong, but I thought you promised to get rid of the IRS?
I know as an American I'm tired of only taking home $0.60 of every dollar I make.
Researcher @curryja once spread alarm about climate change.
The media loved her then!
But when critics pointed out gaps in her research, “Like a good scientist I...investigated."
What happened next reveals a corrupt climate cartel.
One of the most common questions I’m asked is “Can we ever win back California?”
The answer has to be yes. It's a beautiful part of America. The tragic failure of its current government must serve as a wakeup call.
It’s a long term battle worth fighting.
The spending fight centers around the maneuvering of House speaker Mike Johnson, President-elect Donald Trump, the House Freedom Caucus, the Senate, “First Buddy” Elon Musk — nobody’s even asking, “What does Biden think?” We’ve all just accepted that Biden isn’t really running his own White House, that he’s now just a mumbling geriatric who communicates to the country through issued statements.
