@jcanales@ybelanger@BarrFdn I love all the specifics you included in how you’re rethinking your approach to learning to support equity. It’s nice to see concrete examples rather than the usual blah blah jargon blah in such posts.
@hilbink Hey Tom, thanks for your update. I have loved working with you at OSF. I’m so happy you can take time to be with your family and recharge before deciding on your next adventure. I’m looking forward to hearing about your next chapter!
@chrislhayes Please stop using “pro life.” You are acting as a megaphone for their propaganda term. They are anti-abortion or anti-choice. They are most certainly not pro-life. It’s infuriating that otherwise smart journalists consistently cede this ground. Do better with your terms.
@ECMcLaughlin Can we also call them anti-choice, which is what they are? It infuriates me that we perpetuate their propaganda label, which gives it credence it should not have.
@Teebledeebledee @RachelBitecofer Rachel, people on this thread are making valid and important points. As white people we need to do better and part of that is really listening to BIPOC and looking at our blind spots. Why can’t you take a beat and reflect on these comments instead of going on the defensive?

@dianelyssa It was so dismissive of her. Really infuriating and offensive. I am happy I found you through all of that. I’ve learned a lot following you and I’m glad you’re Meghan Markle!
@dianelyssa@Amy_Siskind I stopped following her after that nonsense with you. When she offered to “mentor” you that was it for me. She should have asked you to mentor her! She’s got a lot of blindspots and no apparent willingness to look at them.
