@on_lothianbuses I know there has been bother on buses but not all kids are going to misbehave, my 12yr old son is now making his way to the Fort alone because the 48 refused to stop and let his 3 friends on the bus!! They were trying to get on at the stop after him. Bus no 1144.
@ScotRail Yes I saw that but it said the train was running between Edinburgh and Gorebridge but on arrival at the station it turned out that the train was completely cancelled.

Schools are incredible places! They always have been. But in these tough times, schools and staff are giving absolutely everything to their children & young people. The efforts to maintain some semblance of 'normality', in a climate of turbulence, are extraordinary.

A week on from when she was last seen in Portobello, the family of Alice Byrne (28) have issued an appeal urging anyone with information on her whereabouts to come forward.
Any information can be passed to police via 101 with reference 0647 of 2 January.
