Kenyans with payslips are rightfully complaining that they are being overtaxed and the money taken from them is being mismanaged by the Ruto government.
The Ruto’s government response is that those complaining should be thankful they have a job.
Ruto reminds them that there are many Kenyans who would gladly do the jobs those with payslip and complaining about overtaxation are doing.
It’s like someone robs you and when you complain about it, he tells you that you are lucky I didn’t kill you.
That shows you how Ruto is very shallow, or to use his own words EMPTY
The guy doesn’t understand that it is the work of his government to create jobs for those without jobs.
But here he is, instigating a war between those without jobs and those with jobs.
“I was looking at my payslip and I have been paying an average of KSh24,000 towards the Housing Levy. I want William Ruto to understand that this gives me locus to ask questions about the programme. You have my money; I have every right to ask questions.” — Edwin Sifuna
Kenya Association of Manufacturers has filed a High Court petition challenging a 433% increase in excise duty on imported industrial sugar, from Sh7.50 to Sh40 per kilogram under the Finance Act 2026.
The new rate took effect on 1 July 2026.
Dear world,
You mourn the Amazon. Kenya is quietly losing its forests too.
Our cover is already thin. Every tree lost is water, wildlife and livelihoods gone.
Look at us as well. 🌳

Onjolo Kenya
Chaos at Muthurwa Girls Principal's Office as parent confronts the principal of Muthurwa Girls after being denied permission to pick her daughter who has been sick in school for the last three weeks. Kenya has started using Sh340 billion from its new infrastructure fund to buy government bonds.
The government plans to invest the full amount by June 2027, then use the returns to help finance projects in areas like roads, energy, ICT, water and agriculture
The reason Ruto speaks confidently in rallies telling us to use “formal channels “ to get documents held by the state is he knows his gatekeepers in Parliament will never approve this business to make it to the floor. This one on the Lamu Refinery has suffered the same fate. We must uproot this entire system in 2027 to rescue our country.
SHOCKING: Kenyans will now need at least KSh 107,000 to buy the Dangote IPO shares.
Yes, the ones they promised to let Kenyans buy at KSh 49 each, with a minimum of KSh 500.
The Ruto government has just changed the story.
They have approved,
KSh 53.50 per share/GDR × a minimum of 2,000 GDRs = KSh107,000 minimum.
Read that again.
You were told about KSh500.
Now you need KSh107,000 just to enter.
That is more than 200 times higher.
This is what I call a classic bait-and-switch: first, the opportunity is made to sound affordable, accessible, and inclusive, so ordinary Kenyans believe they can participate plus accept the project.
Then, after the launch, they revealed the actual entry requirement is KSh107,000, when the public has already been sold the idea. They know you can't do anything now. Agreements have already been signed.
I explained this from day one: this was never structured in a way that would benefit most ordinary Kenyans.
And now we are seeing the early signs.
Are we really serious about planting 15 billion trees by 2032? Nimeona more than 100 tippers carrying huge logs from deep inside Kireita Forest, and honestly, there are so many questions. Was the logging ban lifted? Who authorized this?Anatajwa sana. And who that senior government official behind it? Naskia mpaka watu wa that area kimende, kinare and magumu ata hawajui.
He INSULTED and branded Baba as everything EVIL, for more than 10yrs consecutive only to start pretending to love him at death!
HYPOCRITICALLY, satanic!
Ruto can now arrive with flowers, praise Raila, invoke Baba’s legacy and tell Luos how much he supposedly loved him. But before the political theatre, let’s open the archive. The same man who now wants to inherit Raila’s goodwill has a long public record of what he said about him when the cameras were pointed elsewhere. No amount of fresh speeches can erase yesterday’s words. Let the old posts speak. Let Kenyans compare the rhetoric then with the rhetoric now. The internet has a cruel memory and political amnesia is not compulsory.
