On Thursday morning, I had the enormous privilege of sharing my little boy's story on national television, and talking about why the fight for change in brain cancer care and research matters so much.

Following Archie Goodburn's meeting with the Prime Minister the day before, there is finally some real momentum behind a cause that so many families have been fighting for, for far too long.

I never imagined I'd find myself sitting on that famous red sofa. And I certainly never imagined the reason I'd be there, but if telling Billy's story helps bring about change, if it makes people listen, if it helps another family facing what we faced, then I'll keep telling it.

Billy deserved better. Every child diagnosed with DIPG deserves better. I've said it so many times before: If we don't stand up for ourselves, if we don't demand better, NOTHING changes. 

Thank you to BBC Breakfast for giving me the opportunity to talk about my beautiful boy and the work of Brain Cancer Justice. Both Naga and Charlie made me feel so welcome and at ease, despite my whole body involuntarily shaking with fear throughout the entire thing. 🙈
