Fantastic support from Beoga for the Garvaghy Road residents.
Hear me out on this one...
How about the residents agree to the Orange Men marching down the road, they line the route with Irish trad musicians and they serenade the marchers every step of the way?
What an optical, the dour, crusty old Orange Men marching into a new, vibrant and united Ireland...
They still don't seem to understand do they? Drumcree is different. It was the darkest period of the history of sectarian state. This doesnt just impact on a small enclave in Portadown. It causes widespread dark memories across the six counties👉✅📢📢
The only thing I can't hink of as to why the Drumcree march ban was overturned after 28 years of peace is to distract from DUP criminality of the worst sort and the British government using Ireland to distract from all its disasters current and incoming, or in short THE BRITS ARE AT IT AGAIN. #drumcree
Jeffrey Sachs: a president stood at the UN and claimed the right to annihilate a civilization. Congress said nothing. That is the constitutional order collapsing in public.
“I shuddered then, and I shudder now that a president of the United States can stand at the podium of the UN General Assembly speaking to world leaders in a language of annihilation of other countries and of sending them to hell. It was ghastly, unprecedented, totally disgusting, disgraceful for the United States. But I would also say a measure of how broken the constitutional order of the United States is.
Trump basically said, like a madman, which I think arguably he is, that he and he alone will decide the survival of Iran. He said that he has a big, big choice to make. Maybe Iran will be a great country. Maybe Iran will be annihilated. Maybe Trump will send it to hell. And not only was the language vulgar in a way that I certainly could never in my lifetime have imagined coming from a president of the United States or anybody standing at the UN podium—because what Trump said was odious and completely in violation of every religious, moral, ethical, and legal standard that we have in this world—it was also a measure of the brazen collapse of our Constitution.
Is there a political system where one man decides the fate of another civilization? Is that how the American system works? Of course the answer is no. The founding fathers who rebelled against a mad King George III were very explicit in the Declaration of Independence, celebrated this year 250 years after its issuance. We’re in the 250th anniversary, one that Trump says is about our freedom. It was explicitly that King George arrogated, took on the authority to put the military above civil rule. And when the founding fathers wrote the US Constitution, they assigned specifically the power to declare war not to the commander-in-chief, but solely and exclusively—and not by choice, not if they care about it or want to or want to delegate it or not, but solely—to the United States Congress.
And Trump said yesterday he doesn’t care what the public thinks. He doesn’t care what the vote is. He says it doesn’t even cross my mind. And he said earlier this year, when he was asked, well, are there any limits on your power? He thought about it. He said Yes, my morality, but it’s my will. It’s what I want to do. Otherwise, no, there are no other limits.
What did our Congress do on that occasion? I can tell you, as we know, that the majority party in both houses simply remained silent. That is a violation of their sacred oath of office, which is to uphold the Constitution. Trump yesterday said he’s going to have the difficult choice of whether to annihilate, by the way, one of the most ancient civilizations in the world, 5,000 years old, twenty times older than the United States of America. And what did our Speaker of the House say? Well, he said nothing, of course. What did our Senate majority leader say? He said, of course, nothing. What did all of the party of the president of the United States say, the members of Congress? They said, of course, nothing. This is worse than the Roman Empire. There was a Senate that actually still said something. Our Senate says nothing.
We are so broken that not only do we have a madman in power, but there is no respect for our constitutional order. And the president can make statements as he made yesterday, unprecedented in the chamber of the General Assembly in front of the world leaders, speaking like the worst tyrant or gangster imaginable, and not a murmur from the Republican Party which dominates the House and the Senate. You know, I am not partisan. And a Democratic president who dared to be as absolutely mad and deranged as this president would probably find subservience in that party too. So I’m not even making a partisan point. I’m making a point about the collapse of our constitutional order.
Have we come to a point where one man, who I happen to think is utterly incompetent, utterly sociopathic, actually—when people are killed under his order, not a moment of reflection or remorse when 150 schoolgirls are murdered, and he knows the truth. He says, yeah, the Iranians probably did it. We’ll find out. No, not any control at all in our system of government.
So for me, you asked how I feel. I shudder at the last 24 hours, both at what the president said. It made my skin crawl. I was sitting there in the chamber listening to this madness. I mean it really, psychopathic madness, speaking in this way, with a vulgarity that is unimaginable. But then I’ve shuddered since then at the lack of response by the leaders, the majority leader of the US Senate, the Speaker of the House, Supreme Court justices, anybody to say no. In our system of government, it’s not one person who decides on the fate of another civilization.
We are a country, we say, first of all, of representation, and the American people are aghast at this. They oppose it overwhelmingly. They do not support this war of Netanyahu and Trump, which is a two-person war of murder and destruction and assassination of leaders of another country. They do not support it. And the constitutional order is that we are a representative government, and our representatives have an oath of office that only they can declare war. So where are they standing up to say No, you don’t have a penny to spend on this? We control the power of the purse. The tens or hundreds of billions of dollars that Trump has wasted of American income in this flagrant war of whim. Where is Congress to say you have no authority whatsoever to spend that because only we can decide on the spending and only we can declare war.
So this is the grim fact. It wasn’t just the awful statements. That was my first reaction. But then I thought, what have we come to when one person can make a statement like this and then remain essentially unchallenged in the United States system of government?”
Annihilation is not diplomacy. Congressional silence is not restraint. A constitutional republic cannot survive if one man claims the power to decide whether another civilization lives or dies.
Every so often I like to write out an explanation of who I am and what I’m trying to do here, for the benefit of new followers and for my own mental clarity.
The Caitlin Johnstone project is actually run by two people: myself and my husband Tim Foley, who co-authors all my written works. Tim and I fell in love in 2014, started writing together in 2016 after we got married, and in 2017 we launched the audience-funded platform you see today.
Everything we publish is unconditionally free to view without any paywalls or advertisements; all our funding comes from voluntary donations from readers and viewers who feel inspired to support what we do. All our work is copyright-free, so everyone is allowed to republish, reuse, reappropriate, translate, or outright copy anything we put out without asking permission or providing attribution, so you’ll see things we wrote pop up on all kinds of platforms all around the world in many different languages.
I’ve lived my whole life in Melbourne with some brief stays in the UK. I received a journalism degree from RMIT in 2003 but didn’t do any news media work because I’d learned that the legacy press was too corrupt to do actual journalism in. So instead I focused on raising my kids, healing my inner wounds, and becoming a conscious person.
Tim was born in Philadelphia and lived most of his life in California, where he worked in healthcare. We met in an online discussion forum about spiritual enlightenment in 2011, we fell in love in 2014, Tim moved to Australia in 2016, and we’ve been falling ever since.
This project is basically just an outgrowth of that ongoing romance. We don’t have kids together, so we spend our time making creativity babies in the form of essays, poetry, paintings and books. We are each other’s muse so we’re rarely at a loss for inspiration, which is why we’ve been able to write so prolifically all these years. Our ultimate goal is to help create a healthy world so that we can live extremely long lives together in a harmonious future.
We have long conversations every day about what’s going on in the world and where we’re headed as a species, and our daily articles are generally outgrowths of those conversations. I function as the editor-in-chief of our project, determining the shape, feel, and ideological direction of our work, and having the final say in whatever gets published. Tim does most of the readings and videos because he’s good at reading aloud and I dislike appearing on camera.
Ideologically I sit well to the left side of the political spectrum; I am frequently called a communist, which is fine by me. I want a world where everyone has what they need, where plutocrats can’t leverage obscene amounts of wealth to manipulate our society to their advantage, and where we live in harmony with the global south instead of enslaving its people using military violence and economic coercion. I oppose tyranny, war, militarism, capitalism, imperialism, Zionism, the western intelligence cartel, mass surveillance, government secrecy, police brutality, censorship, propaganda, and the suppression of journalism. I despise racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, western supremacism, and all prejudices which harm marginalized populations.
I believe we live in a tyrannical mind-controlled dystopia at the center of an empire that is fueled by human blood, and that we ordinary people can change this by using the power of our numbers to force the creation of a just system. Westerners are currently too propagandized to understand the urgent need for revolutionary change, but I see signs that we are beginning to awaken from that trance.
Ultimately what’s needed is a radical transformation of human consciousness away from our self-destructive egoic patterning. We know that this is possible on an individual scale in the process commonly known as spiritual enlightenment, so there exists within us the possibility of such a transformation on a collective level as well. Anyone who has ever had a spiritual awakening knows you can hear the same teaching or pointer a thousand times before it finally hits home and rips your mind wide open, so just because we haven’t yet become a conscious species doesn’t mean we can’t become one.
It’s all about helping humanity see through its various illusions and delusions so that we can wake up to reality and create a healthy world. Everything I publish is pointed at this in some way. That’s what this project is and will continue to be, and I am deeply honored that so many people have been eager to come along for the journey.
Andy Burnham is really saying: "A border poll on unity in Ireland is not on the table until after Our Man in Dublin, Micheal Martin, slides the Republic into the JEF (i.e. NATO) by stealth." See this expose of MI6's barely concealed JEF PsyOp in Ireland: https://t.co/e804RSsitr…
Whitehall is behind a vigorous campaign to get Ireland to align with a NATO proxy called the JEF. MI6, IISS, PX and other spooky groups are part of a PsyOp supportng it. It may explain Burnham's declaration that a unity referendum is 'off the table'. See https://t.co/e804RSsitr…
Most people don’t know it, but Zionism didn’t start in the 20th century.
It started at the end of the 19th century - before the WWI, and long before Hitler came to power.
By the 1920s and 1930s, those issues were already being highlighted, because the conflict and the push around Zionist behavior had been building for decades.
It is satanistic from the beginning.
Everything evil, even nowadays, is leading back to it. Terrorism was turned into a political weapon, immigration crises were heavily exploited and politically managed in Europe, and the LGBTQ issue was also pushed through powerful institutions, nonprofits, and funding networks in the West.
The whole financial system we live in was basically designed to keep people down while one ruling class takes over.
Zionism was - and is - not about trying to save a religion. That’s the excuse they use. Zionism is driven by secular political actors, and some early support also came from Christian Zionists. It is a political movement.
From the moment they stepped into Palestine, it was an aggressive takeover. From the first days, when the ships arrived, people were armed, and families were being pushed out of their homes, threatened, and killed.
What we see right now, in 2026, and what people are finally starting to realize thanks to the Iranian war, is that this is part of a conflict that has been going on for over 100 years, and only now is Gaza and Palestine becoming mainstream in the wider conversation.
And what is more important: it is a political movement of the ruling class.
When it started, it was backed by some of the most prominent bankers, railroad owners, and business conglomerates of the time. The Rothschilds played a major role in funding early Jewish settlement in Palestine and supporting the first colonies.
And even if it originally had something to do with protecting Jewish people who were being pushed out of country after country, that is not where it ended.
The system of 🇮🇱 is literally working like this: America and Europe sends money to in the name of support - billions and billions of dollars - and that money turns into political influence and access, coming dirwctky back to the politicians pockets. That is how groups like AIPAC can pour millions into politicians and make them their voice. At the end of the day, all of that comes from taxpayers and from money that is supposed to help ordinary people. Nothing more than almonry laundering on state level.
That is Zionism.
Life in the 2020s comes with so much dissonance and dysphoria because everyone knows this civilization is doomed, but it’s not being acknowledged by any of our mainstream institutions.
We can all see everything getting worse and worse before our eyes in real time, but our government officials don’t talk about it. Our mass media outlets don’t report on it. Our education systems don’t recognize it. There’s a giant elephant in the room with us at all times, and normal people are acutely aware of it, but the talking heads keep speaking as though everything’s going to keep ticking along normally into the foreseeable future.
We can all see the summers heating up.
We can all see that there are fewer insects and less wildlife around than when we were young.
We can all see that the western empire is on borrowed time.
We can all see that younger generations are having much more difficulty affording housing and life expenses than their parents and grandparents.
We can all see that technology has stagnated as capitalism’s innovation-for-profit model hits the limit of how far it can carry us as a species.
We can all see the apps, search engines, social media platforms and tech services getting shittier and shittier year by year.
We can all see AI making everything worse and turning everyone into cognitive infants who can’t do anything for themselves while consistently failing to deliver what its proponents say it will deliver.
We can all see the people around us getting dumber, crazier and more miserable as we are pushed into dystopian conditions where everyone gets more and more alienated and must pay a monthly fee for the experience of connection.
We can all see that state authoritarianism is escalating in proportion to public discontent with the status quo.
We all know we’re in a completely unsustainable situation. We all know we are riding a bus with disintegrating wheels.
But it doesn’t get acknowledged by anyone at the top. The news reports are still about the latest celebrity gossip and whether the economy arrow is pointing up or down. The movies and shows are still about wacky and witty characters for whom capitalism is working perfectly fine. The politicians are still talking about culture war issues and the Evil Dictator of the Day.
It is taken as a given that our grandchildren will be living in more or less the same kind of world we are living in, when we all know there’s no way this is true.
The wheels on the bus are coming off, boys and girls. The ride is near its end.
I’m not saying we’re all going to die, I’m just saying this civilization as it presently exists cannot possibly be sustained. Immensely drastic changes are coming up around the bend whether we like it or not, either by a deliberate transformation or by some cataclysmic event occurring against our will.
Life in the 2020s feels so spiritually dissonant because we all know this is the case, but all the sources we’ve been trained to look to for information and context are acting like everything’s perfectly fine. They’re painting a cheery picture over reality while every normal person is staring at the giant black cracks that keep appearing in the paint job.
Which tells you all you need to know about the competency of the people who are steering the bus. The people in charge are just going to keep driving this thing into the ground until there’s nothing left to save. If there’s going to be a world-saving revolution, it’s going to come from we ordinary people who are willing to acknowledge reality, not from the oligarchs and empire managers presently steering things who have been blinded by the pursuit of profit and power.
We either find some way to get their hands off the steering wheel and take control, or we find ourselves confronting the future horrors they’ve been discouraging us from thinking about while they drive us to our doom.

This week the NHS will undergo one of the most radical – and scandalous - changes in its history. From 1st April (the public are the fools in this), GPs will be contractually obliged to seek remote, electronic “advice and guidance” from hospital ‘clinicians’ (note, not necessarily doctors), making it even harder for patients to see a hospital specialist.
Does this sound part of a plan to genuinely ‘fix’ the NHS, as Wes Streeting vowed he would do so effusively when taking up office - or more like a tactic to ration hospital care by overriding GPs in order to massage the waiting list figures?
It is, of course, the latter, an extra layer of bureaucracy that at best will delay patients’ access to the specialist treatment they need, at worse sacrifice those patients on the altar of fake news about “falling” waiting lists.
You don’t need me to point out the patient safety risks it potentially entails. We all know that time, in medicine, can be everything. The Royal College of GPs has been crystal clear: “The use of advice and guidance should not be mandated in any area… We have heard reports of risks of delays, with tests being required before any referral, lost messages and staff without appropriate senior clinical oversight handling requests.”
The aim, says the Times, is to reduce the number of hospital outpatient appointments by 30 million annually. And the government, in a really quite breathtaking example of political spin, is presenting this as “good” for patients - as though all those people who’ve been waiting years months or even years for the first Rheumatology, Neurology or Orthopaedics appointment they so desperately need are just, you know, malingering. (I recently spoke to a patient with a new diagnosis of multiple sclerosis who’d been waiting over six months to see a neurologist for the first time – simply scandalous.)
I believe this is a national health scandal from a government that apparently cares more about good spin than it does about good patient care.
If you feel the same, please – please – write to your MP or the Secretary of State and tell them why. Please shout about this online, in the press, anywhere you can. Don’t let this slide. Thank you.

🚨HOLY SHIT !!!!!
Israeli politician Yitzik Kroizer says killing Palestinian children is normal if it supports the IDF mission.
He adds there are no innocent children in the West Bank.
Repost this. Please I beg you
Must watch and share clip of Lebanese journalist @RaniaKhalek on Piers Morgan:
“As a Lebanese person asking me to condemn resistance to a brutal supremacist settler colony is like asking a Jew in the 1940s to condemn resistance to Nazi Germany. My entire life my family and my people have been subjected to constant aggression, war crimes, torture, rape, and land theft by Israel. They’ve currently displaced over 1 million people and now Israel’s finance minister is saying they’re going to annex Southern Lebanon, depopulate it of Lebanese, and replace it with Jewish settlers just like they did in the West Bank.”
RFK Jr. Reveals: Gardasil HPV Vaccine 37X More Lethal Than Cervical Cancer.
"Gardasil is probably the single worst mass vaccine that we've ever seen. It targets millions of pre-teens & teens, whose risk of dying from cervical cancer is ZERO. Nobody in their right mind would ever take this vaccine if they actually read the clinical literature."
"Death rates in the Gardasil trial were 37 times the death rates for cervical cancer. Children who take the Gardasil vaccine, are 37 times more likely to die from the vaccine than they are to die from cervical cancer."
"So the problem with Gardasil, like most vaccines, is it was never tested against a true placebo, an inert placebo. And the CDC and HHS say...If you don't test it against a true placebo, it's not science. You have no way of gauging whether the injuries you're seeing from the product are being caused by that product or whether they're just bad, sad coincidences."
"The entity that is actually performing the study is & paying for the study is Merck. Merck got to decide which injuries were being caused by Gardasil & which were just bad coincidences & because it had that power it just wrote them all off as bad coincidences."
"You can do that when there's no placebo because the injuries they were seeing in the control group where the girls were getting aluminum neurotoxins were identical to the injuries they were getting in the Gardasil group so they said well we don't have to report any of these as vaccine injuries. So they were able to license something that is insanely dangerous."
This is the journalist who Israel tried to murder today for reporting on the war. Thankfully the missile missed. Give him a follow. He has more courage than every single one of our politicians combined.
