நடந்து முடிந்த தமிழ்நாடு சட்டமன்றப் பொதுத் தேர்தலில் திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகத்தின் தலைமையிலான மதச்சார்பற்ற முற்போக்குக் கூட்டணிக் கட்சியின் வேட்பாளர்களுக்கு வாக்களித்த தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்கள் அனைவருக்கும் எனது மனமார்ந்த நன்றியை உண்மை உணர்வுடன் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன்.

உங்கள் அனைவரின் ஒவ்வொரு வாக்கையும் விலைமதிப்பற்ற நம்பிக்கையாக நான் கருதுகிறேன்.

இப்போது வரை கிடைத்துள்ள புள்ளிவிபரங்களின்படி தி.மு.க. கூட்டணிக்கு 1 கோடியே 54 லட்சத்து 82 ஆயிரத்து 782 வாக்குகள் கிடைத்துள்ளன. இம்மக்கள் அனைவருக்கும் எனது நெஞ்சார்ந்த நன்றியை நான் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன்.

கூடுதல் தொகுதிகளில் வெற்றி பெற்ற கட்சியானது, நம்மை விட 17.43 இலட்சம் வாக்குகளை மட்டுமே கூடுதலாகப் பெற்றுள்ளது. நமக்கும் அவர்களுக்குமான வாக்கு விழுக்காடு வேறுபாடு என்பது 3.52 விழுக்காடு மட்டுமே. என்னைப் பொறுத்தவரையில் தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்கள் நம் மீது வைத்துள்ள நம்பிக்கையை வலிமையானதாகவே கருதுகிறேன்.

நமக்கு வாக்களித்த மக்களுக்கு நேரடியாகச் சென்று நன்றி தெரிவிக்கும் கடமையை நாம் எப்போதும் செய்து வருகிறோம். அந்த வகையில் திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகத்தின் சார்பில் வெற்றி பெற்ற வேட்பாளர்கள் அனைவரும், உடனடியாக வாக்களித்த மக்களைச் சந்தித்து நன்றி தெரிவிக்க வேண்டும் என்று கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறேன்.

மக்களாட்சியில் மக்களே நம் வணக்கத்துக்குரியவர்கள். அவர்களுக்காகவே நாம் கட்சி நடத்துகிறோம். அவர்களுக்காகவே நாம் அரசியலில் இயங்குகிறோம். எனவே, அனைத்து மக்களுக்கும் நன்றி தெரிவிக்க நேரில் செல்லுமாறு அனைத்து வேட்பாளர்களையும் கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறேன்.

திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகம் ஆறு முறை ஆட்சியில் இருந்துள்ளது. நாம் பார்க்காத வெற்றியும் இல்லை; நாம் சந்திக்காத தோல்வியும் இல்லை. அரசியல் பொதுவாழ்வில் கொள்கையைக் காக்கும் பயணத்தில் நமது கொள்கை தோல்வி அடைந்துவிடக் கூடாது என்பதில்தான் நாம் எப்போதும் கவனமாக இருப்போம். வெற்றியாக இருந்தாலும், தோல்வியாக இருந்தாலும் அதனைச் சமமாகக் கருதி தனது இலட்சியப் பயணத்தை நடத்துபவர்கள்தான் கழக உடன்பிறப்புகள். அதனால்தான் முக்கியமான மாநாடுகள், பொதுக்கூட்டங்களில் பேசும்போதெல்லாம், தமிழ்நாடு முழுமைக்குமான தொண்டர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் வணக்கம் வைத்து விட்டுத்தான் நான் தொடங்குவேன். இயக்கத்தின் இரத்த நாளங்கள், வேர்கள் நீங்கள்தான்.

எனக்கு ஆறுதல் சொல்லி பலரும் குறுஞ்செய்தி அனுப்பி வைத்து வருகிறீர்கள். உங்களால் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட எனக்கு, உங்களது வலிமையால் வலிமை பெற்ற எனக்கு நீங்கள் உடனிருக்கும் வரை என்ன கவலை? நாம் அனைவரும் தலைவர் கலைஞரின் உயிரினும் மேலான அன்பு உடன்பிறப்புகள். அந்த உணர்வோடு தொடர்ந்து நாம் பயணிப்போம்.

உங்கள் உழைப்பால் விளைந்த அறுவடைதான் 1.54 கோடி வாக்குகள். உங்கள் உழைப்புக்கு நான் என்ன கைம்மாறு செய்யப்போகிறேன்? தலைமைத் தொண்டன் என்ற உணர்வோடு நாம் தொடர்ந்து பயணிப்போம்.

ஆளும் கட்சியாக இருந்தால் மக்களுக்கான திட்டங்களைத் தீட்டுவோம். எதிர்க்கட்சியாக இருந்தால் மக்களுக்கான கோரிக்கைகளுக்காகவே போராடுவோம். அந்த வகையில் இப்போது வலிமையான எதிர்க்கட்சியாக இருந்து மக்களுக்கான அரசியலை நாம் தொடர்வோம்.

தந்தை பெரியார், பேரறிஞர் அண்ணா, தமிழினத் தலைவர் கலைஞர் வழித்தடத்தில், நூறாண்டு கண்ட திராவிடப் பேரியக்கத்தின் கொள்கைகளைச் செயல்படுத்த, இனம் - மொழி - நாடு காக்கும் பயணத்தைத் தொடர்வோம். நமது பயணத்தில் எவரையும் பின்தங்க நான் விட மாட்டேன். மீண்டும் வெல்வோம்!

SEBI could simply say this:

✅ All FPIs should route their derivatives hedging through Gift Nifty (daily/weekly expiry).
✅ All resident Indians will continue using NSE & BSE derivatives with weekly expiry intact.
Result?

• No capital flight—money stays in India
• Exchanges don’t lose business
• Govt still earns STT even without scrapping weekly expiry
• Everyone’s happy!

Instead of worrying about Indian retailers money going out of India through option, SEBI should allow trading in world markets.
Open the door for retailers to trade in world markets.

In the US, traders manage daily expiries with ease. (All the indices has daily and Stocks has weekly expiries)
But in India, our regulators struggle to even handle two weekly index expiries.
Are we truly so incapable of regulating this?

👉 Weekly expiry isn’t just speculation — it’s a vital hedging tool for traders and portfolio investors.
👉 It allows positions to be protected when risk is highest, without paying inflated premiums.

Please, do not discontinue weekly expiries. They are essential for risk management and market efficiency.

Dear SEBI,

If the intent is to safeguard retailers in F&O, start by ensuring a level playing field.
Why is HFT allowed for the big players? Isn’t that an unfair edge—executing in microseconds—while retailers get picked off with stop-loss hits?

Four states are strong contenders for wooing Tesla- Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Maharashtra and Gujarat. Now a 5th state, Andhra Pradesh has also made a strong pitch. We don't know what Elon Musk would decide.

Maharashtra celebrated very prematurely that Tesla is coming to their state. Later it was said Tesla is only keen to setup a showroom in Mumbai for imported Tesla cars.

60% of electric vehicles sold in India are in south. Makes more sense for Tesla to locate in south India.

Check in at Dubai airport, what a breeze!!
No passport check or Digiyatra nonsense at main gate.
Immigration outwards happens with eye scanner, just look at the scanner and the gate opens to let you out to security.
At security check, Single loading point for each passenger, no multiple points of loading onto conveyor, so no fight to get hold of a bin.
Just take out your laptop into one bin. Put bag with all wires, HDD, cameras, lenses, everything into the other bin.
No need to take out all these cables and electronic stuff into more extra bins and fight with other passengers to load bin onto the conveyor.
Walk through the security frame and No Beep happens, security guy waves you on without frisking you with his magnetic hand held scanner. No wasting every one’s time for no good reason. No beep means you are kosher, just move it baby.
Super smooth, fast, efficient, safe…no need for unproductive waste of time by thousands of extra security people wasting their time and adding Zero value to traveling public’s life.
Such a fabulous experience just 2 hours away from India in a brown skin country…hopefully, someday we will learn to respect people’s time and money without compromising on security bogey.
