Many Prime Ministers of India have received various awards. It has never been propagated or proclaimed in this manner.

There are grave environmental threats that we are facing. Great Nicobar project is one such example. I myself have written to Rajnath Singh ji and also given suggestions on how this can be done while respecting environmental laws and tribal laws.

We have the issue of coal mining in rich forest areas of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. We have the problem of the unpredictability of the monsoon, which is attributable to climate change. We have the problem of heat stress and the issue of the Aravalli Hills.

We have to balance environmental concerns with growth imperatives. We need faster economic growth and higher GDP growth. But in the name of ease of doing business, the Modi government is basically knocking down environmental laws, knocking out all environmental regulations, and weakening environmental standards.

Pollution is no longer just an environmental issue; it is fundamentally related to public health issues. Those are the concerns that need to be addressed.

The Congress on Sunday flagged that several states have raised concerns regarding MGNREGA-substitute VB G RAM G Act, and said the new law would guarantee only centralisation and further financial stress on states.

The self-declared, self-proclaimed, self-styled Chanakya of Indian politics assured his party and his Sahib that he was going to secure a two-thirds majority in the Lok Sabha on the delimitation bill.

A total of 528 MPs were present and voted on the 17th of April. According to the Constitution, to pass that amendment, two-thirds of those present and voting were required. So, with 528 members present, they needed 352 votes. He got 298. So, obviously, all their calculations were wrong.

Their assumptions were wrong. They did not anticipate this level of opposition, unity, and solidarity. They were humiliated, and it was visible on the faces of the Home Minister and the Prime Minister.

Now they want to get the delimitation bill passed. So first, they did Operation Lotus in West Bengal, and then Operation Tiger in Maharashtra. The delimitation bill was passed on the 23rd September, 2023, but it was notified on the night of April 16, 2026.

The real reason for '400 Paar' was that they could redo the Constitution or have a new Constitution to ensure their age-old bugbear, which is reservation.

Their game plan is that this monsoon session should be dominated by delimitation. But we will not allow that because there is the NEET issue, the CBSE issue, and the Ram Trust issue, which are far more serious issues affecting Indian society than the delimitation issue.

The Indian Express deserves full credit for coming out with the granular details on the Madhya Pradesh scam. The broad details were known, particularly in the case of Ujjain.

I remember that during the Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra, people were talking about it even then. Ujjain, incidentally, was the only place we passed through in both the yatras - the Bharat Jodo Yatra and the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.

The Chief Minister was closely involved, but what we have got after the Indian Express investigation is the granular detail, which has been taken forward by my colleagues in Madhya Pradesh and Delhi. So, that's certainly going to be a major issue in the forthcoming Monsoon Session.

The way the scam around the Ram Trust has unfolded is an absolute shame that happened under the patronage of the BJP and the RSS.

On the 6th April, 2026, the Supreme Court directed a CBI inquiry against a sitting Chief Minister in Arunachal Pradesh. They wanted a CBI inquiry into all PWD contracts between 2015 and 2025. And the Chief Minister is continuing to be in office while the CBI inquiry is going on.

There are continuous paper leak issues, the NEET issue, and the CBSE issue. Our consistent, persistent, and insistent demand is that Mantri Pradhan must resign.

The BJP will do their best to bring the delimitation bills once again after having suffered a humiliating defeat on the 17th April, 2026.

From our side, we will bring up the scam surrounding the Ram Trust; the scam surrounding the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister; the continuation in office of the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh even when the Supreme Court has ordered a CBI inquiry; and the continuation in office of the Education Minister in the face of proven incompetence, in the case of NEET and CBSE.

The Education Minister is presiding over a complete takeover of educational institutions by third-rate academics whose only qualification is that they have opportunistically found themselves to be part of the RSS ecosystem.

The Modi Government, vengeful and petty as ever, bulldozed the repeal of MGNREGA through Parliament without any thorough consultation with the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Rural Development, State Governments, or other relevant stakeholders. Now it emerges that several states have raised concerns regarding its substitute VB G RAM G scheduled for launch from July 1, 2026.

BJP-governed states like Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Uttarakhand have opposed the huge additional expenditure burden that is set to be levied on states. Four other State governments have opposed the blackout period of the scheme during the peak agricultural season. At least five states have sought an increase in the wages of rural workers.

The Rural Development Minister’s own home state is voicing concerns around the Modi Government’s new pet project.

MGNREGA guaranteed right to work derived from the Constitution. VB G RAM G will guarantee only centralisation and further financial stress on states.

उनका आरोप ये भी है कि BJP का मकसद परिसीमन बिल पास कराकर आरक्षण खत्म करना है।

- कांग्रेस नेता जयराम रमेश ने NEET और CBSE घोटालों पर शिक्षा मंत्री से इस्तीफे की मांग की।

- साथ ही मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री से जुड़े लैंड डील घोटाले और अरुणाचल प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री के खिलाफ CBI जांच के बावजूद पद पर बने रहने पर सवाल उठाए।

- INDIA ब्लॉक की एकता पर भरोसा जताया और कहा कि कांग्रेस लोकतंत्र की रक्षा के लिए संघर्ष कर रही है।
