El ministro de Relaciones Exteriores, Rubén Ramírez Lezcano, participó hoy de la apertura de la Cumbre del Futuro, que se desarrolla este domingo 22 y lunes 23 de setiembre en la sede de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU), en Nueva York, en el marco de la Asamblea General.

Durante la ocasión fue adoptado por consenso el Pacto del Futuro, por toda la membresía de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas, que cubre una amplia gama de temas que incluyen la paz y la seguridad, el desarrollo sostenible, el cambio climático, la cooperación digital, los derechos humanos, entre otros.

Esta Cumbre de alto nivel reúne a los dirigentes mundiales para forjar un nuevo consenso internacional a fin de mejorar el presente y salvaguardar el futuro.

Acompañaron a canciller, el viceministro de Relaciones Exteriores, Víctor Verdún y miembros de la Misión Permanente del Paraguay ante las Naciones Unidas.
