@CoryBMorgan Once, and it was a 50ish guy who was here (in Calgary) visiting. In my ancient high school french, I said "Je m'appelle <my name>" and he replied with his. And that was the extent of our conversation.
@jaycurrie@MissBess77 I tried making butter from store bought whipping cream and after half an hour gave up. Checked carton, and see that "carrageenan" is added as a thickening agent. So unless you find another supplier of pure cream, you'll be out of luck making your own butter.
@ABProsperityPrj What happens to existing laws? Would Alberta just assume the same federal ones, or would a whole new legal system be required from scratch? What if, for example, Alberta wanted to bring back capital punishment, or allow legal gun ownership?
