Some cool news: I’m performing in my first play!
I’m playing the role of a radio announcer (that’s a stretch for me 😂) in an April 18 play called “Three Mothers” at Denver’s Su Teatro Cultural and Performing Arts Center.
The play — written by David Carraso, directed by Debra Gallegos and featuring some of the best actors in Denver’s theater community— centers on the relationship between three mothers and their sons during times of historic struggle in America: AIDS in the 1980s, the COVID pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement.
Hope to see you in the audience!

How far @suteatro has come can't be measured in city blocks. More so in importance, impact and endurance. "We have been a gift to the entire city of Denver," Yolanda Ortega said as the company marked 50 years at @HistoryColorado --> https://t.co/03XOFgwSSo @DenverGazette

Su Teatro has paid its debt, and the former Denver Civic Theatre building is now in the group’s hands.
Unlike most arts and culture nonprofits in the Art District on Santa Fe, the organization actually owns its building — and they plan to celebrate.
