This is a truly fantastic quote:
“Diversity is looking like, sounding like, and acting like the community we serve” 🙌

It's my first time using Twitter properly in a good few months. Content wise it's feeling a bit calmer now.
But as a product/service it's also feeling quite clunky and unrefined in a few place too.
@jodie_cook I'm also a big fan of https://t.co/ok0bA1CiKw which does an amazing job of citing it's sources when it generates content. It's such a great way of building trust in the service - and removing the risk of AI hallucinations.

Morning all!
What a sunrise as I jump on the train to #ukgcxl
Already seeing some familiar faces in the feed 🙌. Getting quite excited now 🤜💥🤛.
(Feels a bit weird being back on Twitter too)
You’ve asked for it, and we’re excited to finally release the WCAG 2.2 Map! The resource provides an overview of WCAG and breaks down success criteria by level of conformance. Download it now: https://t.co/u058x2Bnse #a11y#accessibility#WCAG

Audio descriptions for Mortal Kombat 1 fatalities!
The rest of the tech industry could learn a lot from the gaming industry when it comes to genuinely inclusive design.
I just lost a first to five in the #MortalKombat1Beta to someone who seems to be a legitimately blind gamer (a curious handle led me to a YouTube page where it's his thing).
So yeah I guess this game is pretty accessible.
It’s been a long day. But thrilled to see @LEEDS_2023 mark the launch of our third and final part, dropping tomorrow on https://t.co/xjtButJzRD and my client @SocialMobilityF talking about our journey to improve experiences for users. All in a days work. Congrats all involved!
Quick request, I’m looking for accessibility statistics related to the Nordic region - particularly around poor service provision and economic impact - but struggling to find very much.
Does anybody know of any good recent reports?
Reading guidance for doing user research with “older adults - 65+” (very slightly older than me).
The writer entirely defines us in terms of our age-related disabilities.
Absolutely no hint that older people might have different life experiences and interesting perspectives.
