Jon Grisedale might have kicked off his career in 1986, but he continues to prove that age is no barrier, with the 59-year-old riding in some terrific form.

He rode winners at Ballina, Port Macquarie, and Wauchope in May before posting a winning double at Bowraville’s Nambucca River Jockey Club on Saturday.

Grisedale will look to continue that good form at Taree's Manning Valley Race Club Wingham Cup meeting on Tuesday.
