This week we're putting the @SrsSystems srsRAN 5G CU/DU through its paces with our @ViaviSolutions TM500 network tester in the Barcelona lab. Here, we're running the single-UE peak DL throughput test with 1.4Gbps in a 4-layer 100MHz configuration. #OpenRAN
Our Open RAN CU/DU now supports 3rd party RIC frameworks. See how the new E2 interface can be used in our latest tutorial: https://t.co/xG8Hp3FsEP
The Key Performance Measurement (KPM) Service Model is currently supported with RAN Control (RC) next on the roadmap. Happy Hacking!
Roger Piqueras Jover, from Google, will be joining our first srsRAN Project Workshop in Arlington, VA this October 23 & 24, 2023 to give a keynote presentation that addresses how open source software can contribute to improving mobile wireless security.

The new features keep on coming. We've just added MIMO 4x4 to @srsRANProject. And we've also added Picocom to growing the list of O-RUs we support. https://t.co/xDzW5VWHR1
Two weeks after the addition of native Open Fronthaul (OFH) support in @srsRANProject, we're expanding the list of supported O-RU devices. This week, we've added the Foxconn RPQN-4800E - a 4T4R indoor unit.
This is probably very close to the maximum you can get out of a USRP B210 - @srsRANProject with a single 5G-SA 30 MHz FDD cell doing 300+Mbit/s with 2-layer MIMO
Another week, another feature!
Our latest update adds 2x2 MIMO support for both split-8 and split-7.2 fronthaul. Trace below is for 50MHz TDD configuration. 4-layer coming soon!
Just running 661Mbps DL with <7 cores on the 80-core ARM-based Ampere Altra. Configured for 100MHz TDD 2x2 with split-8 fronthaul using N310. #5G#srsRAN

@srsRANProject now supports O-RAN RUs! Our new Open Fronthaul (OFH) library is open-source, portable and free from third-party dependencies. Follow our tutorial to deploy your own private 5G network with the @BenetelLtd RAN550 RU: https://t.co/RnR34czp6u #opensource#5G#openran
