A thread - If you’ve ever asked what role you’d play when the drums of resistance echoed through the streets, when our elders stood with clenched fists and open hearts—
Look no further than today.
@UICollective has landed in Denver for #PsychedelicScience2025. As the ecosystem grows, we’re here to ensure Indigenous and Black voices are not just included—they’re centered. No healing without justice. No future without our roots. 🌱 #DecolonizeHealing
Seeking justice is exhausting, but it’s bigger than me. This is for every survivor who’s ever been silenced. For every corporation who’s profited from the exploitation of women. My story is coming….
I think that if you’ve violated someone you should be held accountable. I think that if you’ve profited from someone being violated you should also be held accountable. Justice might take time, but trust it always arrives right on time.
As a survivor, I’ve taken the step to pursue justice through the legal system. This journey is heavy, but necessary, not just for me, but for all those who’ve been silenced. I can’t share details right now, but know this…. I will not back down.
Violence against Indigenous women is an crisis rooted in colonization, fueled by silence, and ignored by systems meant to protect us. I am a survivor. My story is one of too many. We carry this pain and turn it into power. We will not be erased. #MMIWG2S#NoMoreStolenRelatives
We marched not for spectacle, but for survival. For every relative stolen, for every family still searching. Our prayer is protest. Our love is resistance. Our rage is righteous. We will not rest until every relative is accounted for. #MMIWGT2S#JusticeForMMIP@UICollective
Still feeling the power of standing in front of the White House w/ my love @cannademix + so many others calling to free all cannabis prisoners. Revolutionary love looks like centering community, healing, & liberation—through policy, through plant medicine, and through music.
