The downfall of Nicola Sturgeon should be studied for generations.
This is a woman who spent years telling Scots that Scotland’s future was outside the United Kingdom.
She leaves frontline Scottish politics in disgrace, moves into a luxury flat in London, of all places, and her estranged husband is jailed for embezzling more than £400,000 from the SNP.
Now she has been reported to Police Scotland over allegations of handling property bought with embezzled funds.
For me, the entire saga makes her independence crusade look like a grift she personally benefited from rather than a cause she truly lived by.
And to think millions of people once trusted Nicola Sturgeon with the future of Scotland.
Seeing Rodri distraught, Pep almost in tears, the rest of their players crestfallen, and that heavy silence in their dressing room before Pep finally spoke brings me a joy I cannot describe.
Knowing this is how the rest of that night played out brings pure satisfaction.
This might be our sweetest title win - ever.
Thank you, Arteta 😁
NOOOOOOOO. I hate the way this has all played out. Few greater players in the history of English cricket than @benstokes38 - if he’s now been forced on his sword for breaking a pointless curfew after a match was won, that would be an absolute travesty.
A very fair assessment from Matthew Lynn in the @Telegraph of the disastrous tenure of Rachel Reeves as Chancellor.
We may yet get someone worse, but perhaps we won't get someone so obviously out of their depth.

During the parade yesterday, my mind wandered back to a similar parade in the same location..in 1989..and a certain young player who had the time of his life that day: David Rocastle.
That 1989 parade after Anfield was absolutely legendary—the sheer, unadulterated relief and joy after an 18-year wait for the title. Remembering it puts yesterday’s massive turnout into such beautiful perspective.
And right there on the windowsill outside Islington Town hall holding the football league trophy was David "Rocky" Rocastle - the absolute embodiment of everything that makes the club great. Hearing that classic Highbury chant—"Oh, Rocky, Rocky... Rocky, Rocky, Rocky, Rocky Rocastle!"—still brings goosebumps and some tears.
I had the honour and privilege to meet Rocky many times at Highbury and every single time he flashed that smile and asked how I was doing, never once refused to sign an autograph, stopped and spoke to fans like he personally knew them all.
When he passed away in 2001 at just 33, it broke the hearts of football fans everywhere, regardless of allegiance. But at Arsenal, he never truly left. His name is sung at every match, the indoor hall at the Hale End academy is named in his honor, and his spirit is woven directly into the fabric of the club.
Yesterday's sea of red and white was for him, too. He’ll always be watching over the Gunners.
