Today, Indian diplomats were expelled from Canada due to serious allegations of endangering the safety of Canadians on Canadian soil. It is good to see law enforcement continue to do their work on a matter that has been gravely affecting the Sikh community. I am thankful we live in Canada where the rule of law is upheld.
This is highly unusual. RCMP are issuing a public warning today about agents of the Government of India taking part in violent criminal activity here in Canada.

Holy eff the racism.
Is it absolutely ridiculous that this is what the family was worried about? Probably.
The racism is though, wow. Completely unnecessary. Welcome to multicultural Canada. 👏🏼 Tell me again how racism is a thing of the past.
I can't believe how ungrateful these people are.
This elder gentleman fell down the stairs broke his arm, fractured his ribs, fractured his skull in 3 places had internal bleeding in his head, was unconscious, broke his jaw and spent a month in the hospital getting care.
The hospital staff had to call to ask permission if they can shave his face for medical treatments reasons and the family said no because it goes against Sikhism but they did it anyways because they 👏 needed 👏 to 👏 operate 👏 on 👏 his 👏 broken 👏 jaw 👏 and 👏 apply 👏 post 👏 surgical 👏 care.
Not doing it with hygiene environment could have resulted and fatal consequences and infections.
You would think they family would be so greatful for the tremendous resources and work took to take care of him and save his life but instead they are triggered by a shaved face and so is the World Sikh Organization.
Unreal.

“The intensifying conflict is shaking the world, rattling the region and, most tragically, destroying so many innocent lives.”
— @antonioguterres says we must act now to find a way out of the brutal, awful, agonizing dead end of destruction in the Middle East.
I am deeply concerned about clear violations of international humanitarian law that we are witnessing in the Middle East.
The protection of civilians must be paramount.
They are #NotATarget.
Nobody is above international humanitarian law.
I am deeply alarmed by the intensification of the conflict between Israel and Hamas and other Palestinian armed groups in Gaza.
With too many Israeli and Palestinian lives already lost, this escalation only increases the immense suffering of civilians.

Humans can only survive without water for about 3 days. Gaza has run dry.
The blockade on water, food, and electricity is an indiscriminate, collective punishment and a crime.
It is cruel and unjust. To save millions of people in Gaza - nearly half children - it must end. Now.
I spoke with Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the Palestinian Authority, today. I condemned Hamas’ attack against Israel, discussed the importance of protecting Palestinian and Israeli civilians, and stressed the need to ensure humanitarian access to Palestinian civilians.
Israel must not target medical facilities. International humanitarian law requires parties to the conflict to apply, at a minimum, that the wounded and sick must be collected and cared for without discrimination. Attacks against medical facilities, medical personnel and the wounded and sick are prohibited.
An Indian teacher was attacked by Hindu activists for arranging a student performance on religious tolerance that depicted Muslim prayers at a Hindu-majority school ⤵️
Here's the panel that @CTVNews came up with to talk about the impact of Sikhs and India to Canada.
Definitely feeling the othering.
When will MSM learn to #askcandiansikhs
Embarassing.
