Talk is cheap. Reminder: when given the chance, @NHGOP tried to repeal the prescription drug affordability board TWICE in the last 3 years. #NHPolitics
This Halloween, @NHGOP wants to derail our transportation future + have re-filed a bill that will:
🚫Ban State Funds for Passenger Rail,
🚫Stifle Economic Opportunity,
🚫Strand Commuters, and
🚫Suppress Tourism.

Sorry to spook you, but...
The @NHGOP voucher scheme will cost Granite Staters $100 MILLION in new taxes EVERY YEAR.
That's a trick, no treat. #NHPolitics#HauntedHouseGOP
We should be making it easier for eligible Granite Staters to exercise their right to vote, not harder.
That's why @NHHouseDems and Rep. Mark Paige filed legislation to join 43 other states in the use of an online election information portal. #NHPolitics
DEMOCRATS FILE LEGISLATION TO REPEAL NEW VOTER SUPPRESSION LAW
CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE – Today, Representative Connie Lane (D-Concord), filed legislation for the 2025 session that would repeal a recently-signed law eliminating all voter affidavits and released the following statement:
The voter suppression legislation recently signed by Governor Sununu is unnecessary and discriminatory. As the governor acknowledges, New Hampshire’s elections are secure and run very, very well. Eliminating all voter affidavits enacts new barriers to voting and harms many individuals with disabilities. Repealing this law will preserve our free, fair elections and retain equal access to the ballot box.”

"The circular talk and deception that we see from Republicans on voting rights should concern all of us.
Our fundamental freedoms are all at risk. @GovChrisSununu signature on HB 1569 is just the latest example of why voters cannot trust @NHGOP."

Bipartisan Legislation Paves the Way for New Homes
“The signing of this bill is a positive step in the right direction. It will create pathways for more affordable housing, studio apartments, and accessory dwelling units. Communities also have more flexibility which will ensure more creative solutions to address our housing shortage." @RepMcWilliams
🚨Good news! Yesterday, the House passed HB 1678, sponsored by @AlexisSimpsonNH a bill to institute a farm-to-school pilot program, supporting farmers, children, and NH communities! #NHPolitics
The House voted to kill Ellison’s bill today 192-191. @NHSpeaker cast the deciding vote.
Ellison’s family watched it all from the gallery. The House had honored him earlier that morning.

NH REVENUES ARE DOWN because tax cuts don't grow business. Talent, skills & high-quality infrastructure do. Instead of tax cuts, the state needs to boost universities, R&D & telecom if they want to see economic growth. #NHPolitics#economy#workforce https://t.co/bFXzelsKgh
A masterful job by Rep. Karen Ebel today on HB1649 banning PFAS in certain products. She beat back multiple amendments with a bag of speeches ultimately winning the final vote 233-140 Huge win! #NHPolitics
A stark disparity: Black mothers are 3x more likely than white mothers to die from pregnancy complications.
During Black Maternal Health Week, we recognize the impact of systemic racial inequalities and work to ensure all mothers can access safe, equitable maternal health care.
NH House Democrats legislation (HB 1212) would assure poor children don't go hungry at school.
This morning, the House @NHGOP blocked it from advancing. #NHPolitics

Gun-free schools create safe environments where students can focus on learning without fear. Protecting our children's well-being should always be the priority. #NHPolitics
"The tax obligation has risen $30 million+ to subsidize students that were already in private education when the program began. Allowing voucher applicants to access local education funds - w/ no income cap - would exacerbate these fiscal accountability problems." #NHPolitics
