Children with cancer are being told they must wait until 2027 for free transport to hospital.

At the same time, undocumented adult men are being provided with round-trip transport to dental treatment, hospital appointments, even prescriptions for paracetamol. In some cases, they are seen by private doctors.

This is not compassion. It is grotesque mis-prioritisation.

You were elected to serve the public, not sideline the most vulnerable children in this country while fast-tracking services for others.

This is grief laundering: using a brother’s illness and death to manufacture sympathy, cleanse reputational damage, and deflect scrutiny from harmful policy.

You do not represent the people you were meant to serve.

Resign.
