How much longer are we expected to accept this?
Thousands of people are crossing the Channel illegally, while ordinary people are expected to watch, pay and stay quiet.
This isn’t about hatred. It isn’t about race.
It’s about secure borders, controlled immigration, housing, public services and the right of the British public to be heard.
If the government continues to ignore the strength of public feeling, perhaps it’s time for ordinary people to consider a peaceful national day of protest and strike — not to cause chaos, but to send one unmistakable message:
We are desperate to be heard. Listen to us.
We are not asking for chaos. We are asking for action.
Our borders matter. Our communities matter. Our voices matter.

This mum stood up with her little girl and said what so many women are thinking but are too frightened to say out loud.
Whatever someone’s background or immigration status, women and girls deserve to feel safe walking the streets of their own communities. We need politicians to listen to women and take their concerns seriously.
