I contributed to this @Telegraph piece on high functioning #autism by @DrDavidACox with @Bec_Flower & Rachel Moseley. Despite the title the article is well written, especially the bit highlighting issues with functioning labels. Let me know what you think!

I thoroughly
recommend reading this paper on improving mental healthcare for autistic adults. It's one of the best projects I've been involved in - thank you @VasoTotsika for linking me up with the research team at UCL! #autism#autistic#mentalhealth

I really enjoyed talking with Jules and Harry at Autistic Radio last week about my experiences of behavioural approaches and engaging with behaviour analysts - you can listen to the podcast here: https://t.co/ApfaQLlJd6
@laurene_fontan I haven't been using Titter/X much recently either. I have used LinkedIn, but very sporadically! There are a few autism research groups on Facebook specifically for autistic people - I'll send you a link in a message

1. #Passion. I worked really hard to get myself into a job I feel really passionate about, which includes my key interests - before I worked in #Neurodiversity and #trauma I had way less enjoyment in my job and often felt lost or bored.
@tagsalegirl @rachelmtrimmer What the hell! Have you considered making a complaint or reporting them? They could have caused others harm too

@aimee_speaks Congratulations! Please share your poster on here after the conference for those of us who are not able to go! (I want to know more about your research!)
A while ago @royalsociety asked me for a profile for their Research Career Roadmap. I'm happy to share my experiences, highlighting diversity in research careers (neurodivergence, first gen, childhood poverty): https://t.co/sGz59NBurf

Being #neurodivergent has many benefits to conducting research, such as intense attention (for things that interest me!), attention to detail, a strong sense of justice, and a desire to improve the world for other neurodivergent people.
