Candy wrappers scattered all across school grounds today. I dont even care if they eat candy (which is technically forbidden) but could they at least throw the wrappers away!

@EAwaah It is "Ms. Rodgers" over and over all day and then "Mommy" as soon as school lets out. My kids go to my school so I don't even get a drive home to unwind.

Hot take, you can be a Padres fan and still root for the Dodgers in the World Series. I'm mostly on board because I have a number of students who are Dodgers fans and I want them to feel the joy. Also Dodgers are still SoCal AND the Yankees are the reason Tony didn't get his ring

Another teacher pulled me into her room and sat me down. She then proceeded to tell me how beautifully I sang at the talent show. She gave me a hug and told me I was amazing. She built me up and made no mention of the tardies or the other teacher. She is my inspiration.

@itspeterbrown @Dreamworks I'm a school librarian and have been promoting it with my 1000+ students! We just had a read-a-thon and I bought copies to giveaway as prizes. I saw the movie Saturday with my children and it is PERFECT.

@itspeterbrown My family went and saw the movie yesterday. It's stunning and epic. Wild Robot is a favorite book of mine, and the movie does it full justice. I am looking forward to telling all of my students to go see the movie (and read the book).

I asked a 1st grade class today if anyone could tell me the meaning of the word "extinct." A student raised her hand and confidently answered, "It means you're stinky."

@ScottWesterfeld We want to teach this book to our 8th graders this year but we don't have the budget for 92 copies. If anyone knows a good source for it in bulk please let me know! I just love it and I know our 8th graders would as well.
