We (Wife, 2 Grandsquids & me) live aboard our ⛵️classic sailboat⛵️ and love to share the lifestyle of a modern "water world life" through Videos and Blog
@theallinpod@friedberg@chamath@DavidSacks@Jason Love the Pod, every episode makes me get smarter, but was surprised at the responses to Friedberg, his point wasn’t even acknowledged but rather defended by citing specific examples rather than trying to see his point. IMHO<3
@friedberg brings up a great point on the “All In” podcast this week. ‘We’ do seem to focus on what the government did wrong, or could have done, or should have anticipated in so many of our public conversations. My take below in thread…
…enough to have gained knowledge to avoid making that same mistake again and sharing it with our friends or even the public. Look at how much more often you can find something online about how “I was victimized” over “What I learned and want to share it with you”
Rather than say, wow that caused this to me, what can I learn from this, many default to, ‘This happened to me, who is to blame for it’. I know there are valid places for those questions but 75%? Of the time, we can, should, and don’t educate ourselves…
Sometimes (and sadly more frequently than many want to admit) we look to find the blame in others for what happened to us, rather than acknowledge our own shortcoming, mistake, lack of knowledge, or proper planning.
It is that time of year. Check out this GREAT Wassail (Spiked Apple Christmas Drink) Recipe. Easy, fun as a family, and pretty darn good if I do say so myself. https://t.co/7ZK9vmBzEh
