Did TVK’s Vijay genuinely win, or was his victory strategically engineered? The psychological political math suggests the latter. The BJP knew the DMK’s consolidated vote bank couldn't be breached directly. They needed a popular regional face to act as a catalyst to fracture those votes. This looks less like an organic win and more like a textbook 'divide and then conquer' operation.
Doesn't it seem like both M.K. Stalin and Mamata Banerjee were deliberately targeted and defeated out of pure political vengeance? Strong regional leaders are the biggest roadblocks to absolute hegemony. Stalin dared to ignite an ideological debate against the Sanatana class hierarchy during peak Hindutva waves, while Mamata consistently refused to capitulate to Amit Shah’s aggressive brand of politics.
The tragedy is what happens *after* the elections, The BJP’s formidable ecosystem mainstream media, IT cells, and so-called "neutral analysts" immediately swings into action. They manufacture consent by shifting the blame onto "opposition incompetence," successfully orchestrating infighting among secular parties and bullying them into accepting highly questionable results without filing review petitions.
If the opposition keeps falling for this trap, we are heading straight into a 'managed democracy.' The endgame isn't to wipe out the opposition completely, but to allow regional parties just enough vote share to maintain the illusion of a multi-party democracy, while systematically depriving them of any real political power or institutional control.
Mamata Banerjee has taken the bold and necessary step of refusing to accept these suspicious results. The entire opposition MUST stand with her unitedly and practically. Isolated resistance will fail. Unless the opposition collectively challenges this ecosystem and demands absolute electoral transparency, defeating the BJP will remain a pipe dream.
Before hastily supporting Vijay, has the Congress leadership done any future analysis? That is, does the power to stop the BJP and its Hindutva fascism at the grassroots level in Tamil Nadu actually lie with Vijay or with the DMK?
Consider the long game: If the BJP defeats Vijay in the next Tamil Nadu state elections, the precedent is set, and everyone will be forced to accept it as the "will of the people." No one will easily accept that the BJP came into power by defeating the Dravidian Tamil movement’s political party DMK, but it’s easy to accept that the BJP came into power by defeating TVK Vijay’s fanbase political movement.
This raises a terrifying question for the 2029 General Elections: under Vijay’s Chief Ministership, how many of TN's 39 Lok Sabha seats will actually remain safe from falling into the BJP's hands?
This isn't just an isolated experiment in Tamil Nadu. The exact same playbook of manufacturing regional proxies could easily be replicated to breach Kerala next. What is the counter strategy to this systematic dismantling of regional fortresses? What is the solution? The opposition needs to find answers and act, before it's too late.

THE BJP FOR YOU. Let the world see these pictures
MK Stalin- 1.02 lakh votes deleted in Kolathur constituency, he lost by 8,795.
Mamata- 51,000 votes deleted in Bhabanipur seat, she lost by 15,000.
Kejriwal - 38,000 votes deleted in New Delhi constituency & he lost by 4,000. (2025)
Three prominent Chief Ministers of opposition were defeated by mass deletion of votes. If you still don’t see the pattern and believe they lost because of anti-incumbency then the joke is on you.
Its past 2pm and @ECISVEEP not declared a SINGLE RESULT in Bengal. Just releasing "trends" here and there to create a mahaul for @BJP4India . WHY THIS DELAY, GYANESH??
This isn’t Chat GPT written. So full of Errors - Seeking apology in Advance. 🙏🏾
Democracy isn’t just about casting a vote, it’s about protecting that vote. Even North Korea holds elections.
So, this WB elec'll be remembered not for who won, but for when the body entrusted to protect that vote failed miserably.
Sukumar Sen the First CEC - The unsung Hero of India’s Democracy.
Noteworthy, that during that time also it was a pertinent question that "WHO IS INDIAN".
Millions of partition victims without any document, any literacy (84% population was illiterate) had nothing to prove their identity.
It became more hectic when the Constitution makers decided to adopt universal adult franchise in its first election.
The RSS even then opposed it vehemently. They insisted the right to vote should be on property, or taxpaying status. They said the general population was unsuited for equal voting rights.
But our constitution makers were determined and thus it was decided any Indian citizen 21 yrs of age and above, residing in a particular constituency more than 180 days would be eligible to vote in that constituency.
Those so-called flagbearers of Democracy watched us Indians adopting Universal Adult Franchise
On the other hand, they -
The US held their first Presidential Election in 1789 but their women were included as voters in 1920.
The UK first allowed its women to vote in 1932, about 100 yrs after its first elections.
Despite India achieved Independence the British Governor General was still the highest chair in India. It wasn't going to change until the Government formed . So Pt Nehru wanted to hold the election in the early month of 1951.
But CEC Sukumar Sen told Nehru to wait. His task was huge, almost to built from scratch.
He did it. Not him alone but other heroes like SN Mukherjee, KV Padmanavan, PS Subramanian, BN Rau, due to all of their collaborate heroic from 25 Oct, 1951 to 21 February, 1952 the democratic exercise of Tryst of destiny held.
Total 173 million Indians, 49% of the population were registered as voters - largest in any country.
The homeless, jobless, beggars in Mumbai living in the land of Municipality without any permission or rent were also included in the voter list. They got an identity for the first time as Indian CITIZENS.
When India adopted universal adult franchise in its first elections, like RSS their colonial master the British administration claimed in India giving voting rights to all would be disastrous and misfit.
India went ahead. Thanks to those revolutionary thinkers in the Constituent Assembly.
Thanks to the bureaucrats of those days. For all their combined efforts India became an exception.
From there to today - when 27 LAKH mapped voters were excluded in the name of logical discripency.
From inclusion to exclusion.
From festival of Democracy to procession of Disenfranchise.
From Good Faith to Bad Faith.
From India's First CEC Sukumar Sen to present day Gyanesh Kumar.
- A telling story itself.
Mamata Banerjee out on the streets at 2AM guarding Democracy while the country sleeps is the reason why she has been invincible in Bengal.
They had to do SIR, deploy Gyanesh, unprecedented troops deployment, cut votes, rig elections just to have a shot at defeating her.
Absolute chad this lady 🗿
Whatever Delhi journo @Kumkum26 told is right. Mamata knows pretty well that TMC has inflicted a crunching, spine breaking defeat for BJP in Bengal, but, whatever TMC is doing now is nothing but providing training to RaGa, Akhilesh & INDIA how to tame & defeat BJP in real life.

INR is a falling knife.
Change 5000 INR into Thai currency (THB)-- you will get 1030 THB.
Now, try changing that 1030 THB back to INR, you will get only 2989 INR back (instead of 5000).
This 40% "spread" indicates how illiquid (& weak) INR is.
- No one bothers.
- Media won't educate you.
- Everyone says: why even bother, you will stay in Indis; spend in India, right?
Wrong.
That's not how it works.
Just because YOU don't spend in USD or AED, does not mean that it doesn't hurt you. India is a net importer. And, is likely to remain so.
Whenever something is imported, you need to pay in a foreign currency. Just because you are not paying this "directly" does not mean this payment is not happening.
As the currency falls, your buying power (globally) gets depleted.
Solution? if you want to travel abroad, send kids abroad, plan your retirement or simply retain your buying power:
Start saving in a foreign currency. Example: invest in US stocks. This is legal. One of the many ways.
Else, you might look at your SIP growth= 12%
Pay 12.5% tax= roughly 10.5%
Currency depreciation = 8%
Net returns= 2.5-3%
The new reality is: to retire in India, you need to invest abroad. The sooner you get started the better it is.
India is a great growth story. Use it strategically. Don't buy it at any valuation. Buy it only when the valuations are low.
