The government should not act like arresting for political speech . The same speed and urgency should be shown for people’s welfare, not for such actions. As per the yesterday video, the speech does not amount to an offence. If the government feels it is objectionable, they can issue a summons instead of arresting him. This looks like pure vengeance.

So many political parties use vulgar language and post freely on social media, yet no one is arrested like this.

Political parties should not waste public time and money on such issues. Both Vijay and Udhayanidhi are projecting themselves as immature. This is the fate of Tamil Nadu

I strongly condemn this incident. It is highly suspicious how individuals suddenly "fall ill" or collapse only after being taken into police custody.

This looks like pure drama and an attempt to cover up the truth.

It is hard to believe that so many people end up in such critical condition exclusively inside police stations. The police have a consistent pattern of lying and twisting facts in every such case.
Most officers seem to lack any humanity they simply serve the ruling party, whoever is in power.

This appears to be a deliberate attempt to hide what really happened inside the station. Something suspicious clearly took place, and the public deserves the full truth, not another fabricated story

I strongly condemn the Delhi Police for using excessive force in collusion with RSS goons.

It is shocking how many police officers readily align themselves with whoever comes to power.
The Delhi Police has shown no shame in unleashing such actions against its own fellow citizens.

Instead of providing security to the students and handling the situation with maturity, the police, along with the Supreme Court, failed to uphold their constitutional responsibilities.

This is a matter of deep shame for the higher judiciary and for Indian democracy as a whole.
It is unfortunate that political parties say one thing while in opposition and do something entirely different once they come to power. The same BJP that once supported Anna Hazare is now behaving like a goon government. This is truly shameful.

They are primarily setting up a snacks and food manufacturing facility, not a beverages plant. This is excellent news for Tamil Nadu.

It will create direct & indirect employment, boost local agriculture (potatoes, spices, grains etc.), attract more investment, and strengthen TN’s position as an industrial hub in South India.

Development and jobs are much needed. Let’s welcome such projects while ensuring environmental standards are followed.

This is an immature observation and speech. People rejected the DMK’s strategy of opposing the BJP on every issue.
So why should the DMK continue to oppose the BJP when the people’s verdict clearly shows that the party was defeated primarily because of its strong anti-BJP stance in Tamil Nadu?
Therefore, the DMK must change its strategy and start supporting the BJP.

If people ask the DMK, “Why are you supporting the BJP now?”, the DMK should respond by asking them the same question: “Why did you defeat us?”

Ideally, people should instead question TVK leader Vijay, that please strongly opposes the BJP,because they chose to vote for him rather than the DMK.

The DMK should stop opposing the BJP on every issue that arises in Tamil Nadu.

Let TVK fight those battles — that is their policy and ideology enemy.

Strongly condemn the custodial death of Sabari Varman in Nagercoil jail.

The postmortem report revealed 19 injuries — this is completely unacceptable.

Arresting a few police personnel has become routine, but where is the real change?
Every political party shouts and makes promises while in opposition, but continues the same practices once in power. There is no difference between any of them. It is the public that is being fooled.

We urgently need a systemic overhaul better training, strict accountability, independent oversight, and zero tolerance for torture in custody.

Mr. Vijay, please don’t just do photoshoots and cinematic dialogue and statements. Show real political will if you truly want to change Tamil Nadu. The people are watching

If it is True!!! ,The reported death of a detainee in police custody in Nagercoil is deeply disturbing.

No citizen should lose their life while in the hands of the state.

The family’s pain and the eyewitness account shared in the Sun News report — where a woman says the police delivered the news with a smirk raises serious questions about accountability and transparency.

Custodial deaths are a stain on any government, and they cannot be normalized.
I condemn:
The Tamil Nadu Police for any negligence, brutality, or lack of transparency in this case.
The newly formed TVK government for allowing such an incident so early in its tenure.

Promises of good governance and people-centric administration ring hollow when basic human rights and custody safety are violated.
An immediate, independent, and time-bound judicial inquiry (preferably by a sitting High Court judge) is the bare minimum expected.

The officers involved must be suspended, the body must be sent for a proper post-mortem with video recording, and the family must receive full support and justice.

Custodial deaths were a problem under previous regimes. They must not continue under this one. Zero tolerance on this issue.
