A lot of people think they understand what’s happening when they don’t. That may be why we were told to “enjoy the show.”

People are picking sides based on what they believe is right. The problem is that pieces of the truth are scattered everywhere. Every side has some of it. Every side also has things wrong. That mix is creating massive cognitive dissonance.
I think that’s the point: to force people to think for themselves instead of accepting something as true just because of who said it. Message, not messenger.

That same dissonance is also dragging the conversation into public view and keeping it there by constantly reinforcing it.

Meanwhile, the people actually in the game are keeping the enemy off balance.
