The number of families with children in need of help through our food bank is growing. So far this year, a full 20% of those who used are food bank are under the age of 18. That number does not include our Lunches for Learning clients. #sault
This graph compares 2022 FB usage to the avg of the previous 5 years. As you can see, the number of families we're helping each month is consistently significantly higher than in the past. Your donations help ensure that we can provide these clients with the help they need.
Our food bank shelves are again getting extremely low with record levels of use continuing but declining donations coming in. If you can donate any nonperishable goods, everything helps, but the items below we are either right out of or about to run out of.

We've heard from principals that some parents will keep kids home from school bc they don't have a lunch to send with them. The Lunches for Learning program helps parents and children alike by ensuring kids have a lunch to take to school every day. https://t.co/knGs4rcw61
