Lost Dogs is two stories - about Roy and about Alene. How they meet and travel together, and how they each deal with their own inner beasts.
Fantasy, but in a modern-day world - about people, not heroes.

Feedback like this gives me so much energy and makes me so happy I almost start dancing.
Thank you to all of you who take time to let us know you enjoy the work we put out. <3
Book Review Thursday? Well, don’t mind if I do.
Gravesong is a better introduction to Innverse and The Wandering Inn, than the actual first book of TWI itself.
It’s well worth your time if you like fun, easy-going fantasy with dark undertones.

@SteveWestenra A twist has to make sense.
Once it comes around, the reader needs to be able to make all of the logical connections that allow them to understand why the twist makes sense.
It’s not enough to be unexpected and surprising, it needs to be blindingly obvious in retrospect.
Book Review: The Mettle of the MasterMage:

Thorrn Shardsson, the MC of The King’s Swordsman series is without a doubt one of my top five favourite fictional characters ever, all categories.
He’s also the most annoying one. :D
Gotta brag a little.
I received a lovely new review for book 10, and it refers to my story as “social psychology fantasy” which sounds a bit dry, but is also really rather flattering. :D

I got a nice highlight too.
Book Review Time!

The Witch of Webs is the 12th audio book in The Wandering Inn series, and it’s a creepy, unsettling tale in what’s otherwise a rather upbeat series.
Well worth the time to listen to.
My first review in quite a while is finally up. This one is for Gravesong by pirateaba of @WanderingInn
In many ways, it’s a better introduction to Innworld, than The Wandering Inn itself, and I’ll happily recommend it to anyone curious.

@BookwormBlues I think of it as understanding the reason for the rule.
When you know what result a rule is intended to achieve, you can do whatever you want as long as you achieve it - simply put.
It’s back.
The website me and Trudie Skies started back in 2021 is now up and running again, with a new name and a new look. Check it out!

As a kid, I learned never to shower or take a bath during a thunderstorm. This is something I’m sticking with, so now I’m sitting here stinking up the room after my workout and waiting for the lightning to move further away or stop.
So I spent time creating this neat little video for our participation in the upcoming Endless Replayability Fest on Steam.
Then I forgot to add it to the announcement post >.<
Help a poor scatterbrained dev spread the word? <3
@Willbot3000 Same.
I was eager to do it for quite some time, but I ran out of steam and never felt quite comfortable with it.
Making the pictures was fun, though. :D
I’ll give it a try again once my next book is due to come out.
How do y’all have so much energy to promote your books all the time?
Then again, maybe it’s just how I feel?
I always see someone promoting their book, and it’s probably not the same person all the time, but it makes it feel as if everyone’s doing it.
