SEVENTEEN's Hoshi Provides Regular Donations to Youth from Crisis Families in Namyangju
SEVENTEEN's Hoshi has demonstrated a heartwarming act of sharing by pledging regular sponsorship for a youth from a vulnerable family in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province.
Namyangju City announced on the 2nd that Hoshi had pledged sponsorship through the Dongbu Hope Care Center to support youth from crisis families in the area.
The funds will be used to support the student's studies and create a stable environment for growth.
The student receiving this support is a junior from Hoshi's middle school; it is known that despite a difficult family background, he has not lost his will to study and is consistently working towards his dreams.
Upon hearing this story, Hoshi decided to provide regular sponsorship, expressing his desire to help his junior continue pursuing his dreams even while currently serving in the military. Hoshi conveyed his support, saying,
"I hope this serves as a small source of strength for a student who is striving for their dreams even in difficult circumstances."
Shin Young-mi, Director of the Dongbu Hope Care Center, stated, "We deeply thank Hoshi for showing warm concern for the local community and his junior even while serving in the military," adding, "We hope this sponsorship will be a great source of strength for the student and serve as a reliable pillar to help them continue their challenges toward the future."
Meanwhile, the Namyangju Dongbu Hope Care Center operates various welfare programs for residents in welfare blind spots within the local community and continuously provides customized support through collaboration with private resources.
