got permanently game banned on 2 of my cs2 accounts today and i genuinely have no idea why

never cheated on either account or used anything like that. both got banned around the same time while my other 2 accounts are fine

@NoMercyVit @CounterStrike Valve’s own cs2 ban rules don’t say that simply having or playing on a second account is a game ban offense. They specifically mention “manipulation of matchmaking rank” through deranking or falsely increasing your rating. I never did that

@RentalLibido @MirrahKathia i wasn’t using those accounts for an advantage. i just played casually with friends, sometimes got the weekly drops through matchmaking, and even played against cheaters. i wasn’t grinding ranks or farming deathmatch. what would i even gain from that?

@MirrahKathia i’m not denying that i played on other accounts. i’m saying i didn’t use them to cheat or gain an unfair advantage. i just played on them normally, and after calibration they were placed much lower than my actual level.

i have a main account with years of CS experience and a good FACEIT account, both linked here. the banned accounts were lower ranked after calibration.

@thinkistillcare @CounterStrike neither of those applies to me. i created both accounts myself and never bought them. i also checked the login history and there haven’t been any suspicious logins or devices. i’m the only one who’s used them

@MirrahKathia and what does this stat really prove when i have a main account? i already posted my main steam and faceit. those banned accounts were lower ranked after calibration, so i was playing against people way below my actual level. that’s why the stats can look like this
