I wanted to highlight a scam that’s going on. For Feb we book a place in Goa. The host called me and said to book directly and offered me a good discount for it. So I did. Then 1 day before he calls me and tells me that his partner actually booked that place for someone else and he gave us another house (which you can’t find on map so that one can’t give a bad rating, and can’t rate on Airbnb till we book there) and that house was very bad, in no way the money we were paying for it. The service was bad, there was no space to move around, etc.
And we had gone for this trip with our entire family to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. So we couldn’t stay there anymore. And he told us he would refund the money that we had already paid for the 2nd day.

It’s been 3-4 months since.
It’s a very clever scam, the way he plays it, people can’t leave a bad rating. He is a SUPER HOST on Airbnb.

I’m really happy with where we are, to be honest. I could also build things now. The care and craft does become overwhelming to put in, but just that I can, and I feel so enabled.

Because it’s also how one uses these incredible tools, I still do the things I enjoy craft wise, and I do more.

Another way of saying this: I also really enjoy creating, the whole of it, I love when creation flows through me, and it’s a different kind of fun.
