Thanks, once again, to staff and patients for attending our Saturday Flu clinic. We have now vaccinated over 1200 patients, in just one week, and continue to do so. You may be placed on a waiting list as we await more vaccinations in the coming days. Thank you.
Thank you to staff & patients alike who attended our over 65 Flu clinic on Saturday. Although we are working with lower patients numbers, due to social distancing, only one patient did not attend. We continue to add clinics and will shortly add under 65 clinics too. Thanks.
Delighted to announce that Dr Emily Hancock will be taking up a salaried post at the Surgery, from mid August 2020. I'm sure that all of our patients will be as pleased as we are.
LATEST NHS ADVICE - CORONAVIRUS. IF YOU HAVE EITHER A NEW CONTINUOUS COUGH OR A HIGH TEMPERATURE, YOU SHOULD NOT VISIT YOUR GP SURGERY. CALL NHS 111 OR ACCESS INFORMATION ON THE NHS 11 WEBSITE @ https://t.co/30G16DDOT7

A quick word of thanks to patients and staff alike who made last Saturday's Flu Clinic the most successful yet. 500 patients, aged 65 and over, received their FREE vaccination and helped the Surgery secure much needed income. Thank you.
The Medicines Order Line (MOL) commenced for all Swadlincote area surgeries on 9th Sept, changing how repeat prescriptions are managed. We know this is a change for some patients but we are pleased that so many are using and embracing the service. See our website for more info.
We are delighted to announce the arrival of Dr Emily Hancock, GP Registrar, who has joined us until August 2020. She previously trained at Swadlincote Surgery, in 2017, and we are very pleased that she will conclude her training here too.
Dr Hendriksen will be leaving the Practice in mid-July. He is returning to the Royal Air Force, in a clinical role. He has been a valued and dedicated member of the Surgery Partnership, and staff and patients will miss him. We wish him the very best and that he has every success.
