Alex Smith-" Even in my 16TH YEAR, I would've expected DETAILED instructions on the headset"
Rex Ryan- "You know us coaches, we're gonna say it twice "Alex spIke the ball, let's go win the game.."
"We've never seen COACHING this dumb before, and we'll never see it again"! -Rex
Dan Quinn has coached 42 games for the #Commanders.
Before the 10:00 mark of the 1st or 3rd quarter, so inside 5 minutes, we have used 48 timeouts.
In 28 games.
We have 2 or less timeouts by the 10 minute mark in 67% of our games coached by Dan Quinn.

No, Micah, wrong again. Jayden Daniels didn't cost Dan Quinn his job. DAN QUINN DID. Strictly his responsibility to intervene, say no, we're not running another play, we're going to spike it and kick it now. QB should've known better. But HEAD COACH is most to blame.

“It’s Jayden’s fault!” 13 personnel, under center, last play ended with 50 seconds left and this play is snapped at 12 seconds. 38 seconds to figure shit out on the sideline.
Chris Paul steps on Jayden’s foot AGAIN at the snap to throw the timing off.
His ONLY option to throw to is Ben, per DQ saying it’s a sideline throw or check, and that’s an easy pick-6. Now he has to get out of the tackle box to throw it away to avoid a grounding, and he’s got a man in front of him and doesn’t want to get a penalty to move the kick back more or make a mistake.
2 targets in the middle of the field and 3 TEs and Burks man. Anybody tackled in the field and game is over. No real option to the sidelines.
DQ put Jayden in a position to FAIL. Jayden was playing against the Giants and his own damn HC.
Whole team was NONCHALANT after the play nobody knew what the FUCK was going on.
Thoughts on today’s tie vs. New York:
• Hard game to even look back on and analyze due to the despicable ending.
• Jayden was overall a superstar again, but that final blunder (while I primarily blame the coach) will overshadow it forever.
• Defense was serviceable in the first half, but it’s fair to assume that was probably in part to the weather. Once it cleared up in the second half, it looked like the ‘25 defense against the Lions and Seahawks. Winston couldn’t be stopped and they couldn’t cover anyone.
• This is the 3rd year for Quinn, and the second DC he’s chosen. It’s just not good enough. Defense is what he was known for and they are shaping up to be bottom 5-10 for a 3rd year in a row.
• I’ve talked about Quinn’s reckless usage of second half timeouts for 3 seasons. He’s not a game manager, and if you’re not calling the offense or defense, and he can’t manage the game, what exactly does he do here other than clap?
• There were some good individual performances, but what’s the point.
• 1-3-1 and onto SF. They had a chance to turn the season around and they blew it. No other way to put it. Can’t blame health on this one.
I want Dan Quinn fired. I’m out. I’ve never been so out. He’s really not different from Ron Rivera.
He offers absolutely nothing as a head coach and has not had an exceptional defense yet despite being hailed as this great defensive mind
He has a guy running his defense for him.
