Saturday's scans - from 'Coal Town', these images were made at Ashington and Woodhorn Collieries Northumberland in 1981.
Image 2 depicts Micky Sparrow who lost his right arm underground in the '60s - promised a job for life, this was to be his last shift. #photography #coaltown
