I usually don't post anything about politics, but I'm just so relieved that Macron won the election. I would have been so angry and ashamed if the far right had won. I don't like Macron and some of his policies, but he's still a president that favours EU, NATO, democracy, etc.
@KLBSt8ofSk8 It's a relief also because it would have greatly weakened the EU and so would have damaged the Western countries' power against Putin. The next 5 years will be difficult though, many people hate him. And if he doesn't do better, the far right might really win in 2027...
@yasdeibycastro I don't know, he's very happy without her right now. He has a "kinda" father, a fiancee, and friends who love him and support him, so he doesn't need her, it's rather her who would need him in her life. But I still would like to see her!
As for 5x18 and Lea, I would love that π
What I like with the reality show thing is that many people that Shaun and Lea know or knew might see how successful and smart they are and how happy they are together. Of course, there will undoubtedly be some awkward moments or things about Shaun's past that > #TheGoodDoctor
@dvingiani he is not isolating himself anymore, he cares about building relationships and takes others' opinions into account, and overall that he's happier and more open-minded. I liked seeing this Glassman!
@dvingiani I loved that so much too. I really liked how he was included in Lea and Jordan's storyline, it was so unexpected! The scenes showed how much he respects and trusts Lea. And on an individual level, by wanting to be involved in a project with people he knows, it showed that >
@yasdeibycastro to quickly forgive her just because he supposedly has to. And it's not because she's her birth mother that he has to have a relationship with her. But if the writers want them to reconcile, there should be major work on her side to earn Shaun's acceptance.
@yasdeibycastro Oh I agree. She may not have had anyone to turn to for help and wasn't able to leave her awful husband. Still, she didn't protect her kids, left them to their own devices with them living outside for a while...So I don't want it to be easy for her and I wouldn't want Shaun >
@yasdeibycastro It could be great, if treated with care. Like if we see Marcie, I don't want her to expect Shaun to forgive her and be super nice to him.
@dvingiani Exactly, there is lot that can be covered between his childhood, his recent past starting when he arrived at St Bon, his relationship with Lea and Glassman, etc. It's one of the episodes of the season I've been the most excited about, but it could be a big disappointment.
@swan8911 I loved the looks Glassy & Lea exchanged in their last scene. They were the softest I've ever seen before between them. They grew so much on each other. I just love it!
About Glassman and Lea's and Jordan's project, I wonder whether he so readily loves it and wants to not just endorse but be a partner because he has come to really like Lea and has a complete trust in her and her skills...I mean, he knows they're both very smart >

and they likely presented their project and business plan very convincingly, but I can't help but think that if Lea hadn't been a part of it he wouldn't have been so enthusiastic about it. But it's probaby just wishful thinking π

@dvingiani I'm sure we'll not be completely satisfied, I know I probably won't, because it is an opportunity to show and tell so many things that couldn't before, but even if is treated as a 2-parter I fear they won't be able to do much. But we'll see, I remain confident for now!
@EndgameShea@Emsol12 @Zos4Life Well no, if they are healthy I shouldn't be the one making any effort regarding that matter. Even if I get a good night sleep, I'll be tired and my day is gonna be difficult, so asking to stop hitting the snooze button is really not much and not a selfish request.
@EndgameShea@Emsol12 @Zos4Life But frankly, I think that even if I were healthy, it would bother me. I'd be ok with an alarm not too loud going off for example 3 times in 15min, but not with 4 times every 15 min at 5am, particularly if it's several times a week as it can cause health issues in the long term.
@EndgameShea@Emsol12 @Zos4Life I would tell them to make a little effort to get up right away so that I could (try to) get a little more sleep. I think it would be disrespectful and even mean to repeatedly let that alarm go off so early while knowing I'm always tired thus need sleep to go through the day...
