@AdamSants_ A few lightweights there. Need historic perspective. Compton, Edrich, Dexter, Milburn. The other 'Freddie' Frederick Somerset Gough Calthorpe captained in only 4 Tests played (129 runs and 1 wkt) in Windies 1929-30 before dying from dissolution in 1935.

@TheHewman Plenty of passion in the game already & I hate that it makes it so money focused. A manufactured entertainment that is destroying the domestic game - the injection of cash making the rich grounds richer - takes cricket away from the other counties during the height of the season.
