@Cottagescom I've emailed twice requesting a compassionate review after my partner died following a long illness. I've received no response, yet my payment deadline is approaching. Could someone from Customer Relations please contact me urgently? @MartinSLewis@MoneySavingExp
@cottagescom I'm disappointed that after my partner died, and after emailing twice to request a compassionate review of our holiday booking, I've had no response.
I now face a payment deadline without a decision on my case. Please can someone from Customer Relations contact me?
@PeoplePerHour Please could you provide a reasonable timeframe in which the Buyer should respond before I can withdraw my money. Please bear in mind that he messaged on 27th December stating that he required changes, and it is now 16th January and he has not offered any further communication.
1. @PeoplePerHour Can you please explain what right you have to request further confirmation from both parties that work has been completed satisfactorily before releasing my funds, after my client has already approved my invoice and the 2-week processing period has passed?
@PeoplePerHour Also, why wait till the very end of the 2-week processing period (which should have been 1 week according to your T&Cs) and till after I've tried to withdraw my money before then requesting further confirmation?!
3. @PeoplePerHour This project has taken me over 4 months to complete, and I haven't seen a penny for this work in all that time. I was counting on the money this month for bills and living expenses. I note that you have already taken your fees out of the amount due though!
2. @PeoplePerHour I already confirmed that I had completed the work in December when I submitted my invoice. My client approved the invoice that same week, and although he requested changes, there has been no further communication from him with details of amendments.

@Hermes_Evri Delivering a parcel almost a month later, after I've already issued a refund to my buyer and have not yet received my compensation claim from Packlink, is unacceptable and has caused a lot of unnecessary stress. Now I'm probably going to end up out of pocket.
Would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in the Pendle witches or in 17th century Lancashire! Looking forward to reading your other novels!
@stacey_halls Just finished reading The Familiars - what a captivating and spellbinding read! Originally bought it for my mum, who has traced her ancestors back to Burnley in the late 1500s. She loved it too, and we were surprised to come across John and Ann Foulds in the book.
Our ancestors were Folds of Burnley, but I think a different branch of the family. My mum came across an old manuscript in Burnley Record Office by a John Folds in 1700s, in which he describes a possible act of witchcraft against one of the family, but by a Crooke. Fascinating!
