#ATHERENERG , Sell into strength or weakness has always been my dilemma. No matter what you do, there’s always some regret waiting for you.
Holding Ather and not selling into strength for now:
Trend is still intact despite a weak market.
Fresh buying from Hero MotoCorp.
New product launch.
No climax move yet.
Let’s see how this plays out.
I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.

Indices can be misleading. Market breadth tells you what’s happening underneath.
Nifty may look weaker while only a handful of heavyweight stocks are holding it up. Breadth gives you a much better sense of how widely the move is being participated in.
For today:
181 stocks up 4% vs 91 down
5D Ratio: 2.40
10D Ratio: 1.94
Don’t just watch the index. Watch the participation.
That’s where situational awareness starts. #ProTradeJournal #MarketBreadth #IndianStockMarket
This is why I believe low carb + fasting works so well.
Reduce carbs → lower insulin → hunger naturally comes down → fasting becomes easier.
OMAD and carnivore aren't just about eating less. For many people, they make it easier to control hunger, reduce cravings and stay in a calorie deficit without constantly fighting hunger.
The transformation is incredible. 🔥
Low carb wins when you can sustain it.

I love trading.
I love opening charts, scanning through hundreds of stocks, spotting a setup, taking the trade, watching it move in my favour, and eventually getting stopped out.
But there is one uncomfortable truth.
A lot of what we call trading is just repetitive decision making.
And repetitive decision making is exactly what computers are good at.
So why are we still doing so much of it manually?
For a long time, I thought the answer was obvious. Technical analysis is too subjective to automate. There are too many variables. There are things you see on a chart that are difficult to explain, let alone convert into code.
A couple of years ago, I was convinced coding could never be completely automated.
Then came Vibe Coding. Today, I rarely write code myself. My old argument was that coding wasn't mathematics. It was intuitive. There was too much human thinking involved. Turns out, it was math. Just math I didn't know existed.
From ticker tape to algorithms
Technical analysis has already gone through several transformations.
We moved from ticker tape to charts. From drawing trendlines by hand to sophisticated charting platforms. From manually calculating indicators to automated scanners.
The next logical step is obvious.
Why not automate the decisions as well?
Of course, trading isn't just a collection of rules. Some things are difficult to describe.
You learn these things by watching thousands of charts and experiencing hundreds of trades. It's almost like muscle memory. And then there is situational awareness.
I'm not suggesting we become bots
I've never traded with algos, and I'm not suggesting that every trader should switch to completely automated trading. That's not the point.
The interesting question is, how much of your trading process actually needs you?
We already automate parts of trading. Most traders use GTT orders for stop losses. Some use GTT for entries. We are already comfortable letting software execute certain decisions on our behalf.
So automation isn't an alien concept. We simply haven't taken it far enough.
Imagine a system that scans the market, creates your watchlist, identifies setups according to your rules, ranks them, calculates position size based on your risk, and executes the trade.
You don't have to automate everything. You can decide where the human ends and the machine begins.
For one trader, automation might stop at scanning. For another, it might include setup selection and position sizing. Someone else might be comfortable letting the system execute the entire trade. The scope of automation should be a personal choice.
The obvious advantages
The biggest advantage is not speed. It is consistency. A system doesn't wake up on Monday feeling confident and on Tuesday feeling scared. It doesn't revenge trade after a loss. It doesn't move a stop loss because "the stock might bounce."
Automation can remove a large part of the emotional interference from trading.
It can also save an enormous amount of time.
A full time professional might want to spend less time staring at screens. Someone trading alongside a job might simply not have the time to scan markets all day.
And if the system has a feedback mechanism, it can continuously learn from your trading history.
Which setups actually make money?
Which market conditions work?
Where are you consistently making mistakes?
Which trades should you stop taking?
Your trading process can become a system that improves with every trade.
But there is a catch
Automation doesn't magically make a bad strategy good. In fact, it can make you lose money more efficiently. The initial learning curve can also be steep.
You need to understand your strategy well enough to translate it into rules. You need to understand the limitations of those rules. You need to test them. And you need to be comfortable when the system behaves differently from what you expected.
There is another problem.
Flexibility.
Human traders can change their approach quickly.
Today you might trade breakouts. Tomorrow you might decide the market is better suited for pullbacks. Moving between setups or changing your strategy isn't necessarily easy when your trading process is built into code.
Initially, you might end up trading only one or two setups, and only under very specific conditions.
That may actually feel restrictive. But perhaps that's not necessarily a bad thing. Most traders don't suffer from a lack of setups. They suffer from taking too many of them.
So, what should we automate?
I don't think the question is:
"Should I automate my trading?"
The better question is:
"Which decisions am I willing to take off my plate?"
So, are we ready for #VibeTrading?
