Our first ‘Chinese New Year’ celebration lunch was so popular that we didn’t even get a chance to take a photo of the amazing food! The fact we sold out is a testament to how delicious it was 🍜 #HappyChineseNewYear
The ‘Equality Council’ are busy getting everything ready for our Lunar New Year celebrations next week! We’re also very excited about our pop-up Chinese feast on Thursday 8th Feb 🍜
Year 9 took part in a workshop today as part of a collaboration between @ASPolice and @NHSEngland. The ‘Blunt Truth’ workshop encourages young people to report if someone they know is carrying a knife and also involved some emergency response training from paramedics!
@TeachHughes We had the exact same thing a couple of years ago - little guy made it all the way to last lesson before being discovered by a teacher and returned home to parents!
Absolutely loved my Year 7 textiles group this term - these were produced by the SEND students who worked so hard and all group hugged me in our last lesson because they didn’t want to leave 🥹❤️
Non-Uniform Day but with a festive, fun & cultural twist today to raise money for @savechildrenuk and represent our amazing, diverse school community!
Year 7 and Year 10 had a visit from ex-student Tommy today to hear all about his career in the Army. It was great to hear about his progression since he joined at age 16 after completing his GCSE’s with us. Thanks for coming in Tommy!
Held a parent/carer revision information evening tonight. Students sat next to their families. They made notes together. They summarised. They reiterated. They shared ideas. Would highly recommend. Would you like the slides?
Another amazing Santa’s on Bikes event leaving from school this morning and travelling to @HospiceWest . Our student volunteers did a wonderful job handing out hot drinks and mince pies! 🎅🏼 🏍️ ❤️
We’re really looking forward to repeating the success and celebration of last years ‘Cultural Clothing Day’ on Thursday 7th December in aid of ‘Save the Children’. Donations greatly received via ScoPay from tomorrow ✨🎄 🪔
