Thanks to everyone who joined me in the Hartley Hare/ Pipkins chat yesterday. It shows just how important children's telly shows are to us growing up. BBC + others are producing fewer homegrown kids' shows than ever. We must fight to keep this important part of childhood.
Scarred For Life Hall of Famer HARTLEY HARE, operated and voiced by the great Nigel Plaskitt, was the undoubted star of ITV kid's show Pipkins (1973). He was vain, arrogant, conceited, and looked like he'd had a brush with myxomatosis. I adore him.
We've had a lost rat brought in, he was found trying to get into a garden shed for shelter. He's in good health, with a very nice ginger coat, but he's quite timid which is understandable, we've called him Robin, he'll need a new home if not claimed. #RATS#FridayFeeling 🐀🐭
Please help by sharing 🙏🏻 Charlie has been in care almost 100 days. He needs an indoor home, there must be someone with an empty lap ready for Charlie. He’s getting so sad. Ideally needs to be rehomed within a hour of Bicester #Catsoftwitter#catsofx

I’m lucky to be loved & cared for — so for my birthday I’d love if you could help animals in need.

@TalkingPicsTV Watching this now! It is, of course, based on Casting the Runes by M R James, which is equally as terrifying, especially when reading it at night!
