Born in 90, I watched the New Generation Era through the Ruthless Aggression Era pretty much every time it was on TV. I watched for a couple years after RA but wrestling just isn’t as good anymore so I stopped watching altogether. I just watch reruns of old matches and promos.
So I finally got around to watching the Hulk Hogan Real American documentary and here’s my takeaways.
The Hulkster sacrificed his body to entertain and make a good living for himself and his family. The amount of surgeries and pain he had was brutal.
Linda divorcing him and preventing him from living in one of the houses that he paid for is unforgivable.
Then she dates a 19 year old and they take his boat out in front of his apartment so they can flaunt it in his face is next level trash.
The judge giving her 70% of what that man sacrificed for shows how broken the system is.
Triple H and the WWE banning him for a period of time because he said a word once is pathetic.
Wrestling Fans booing him when he came back to me was odd..they cheer for the crap that modern wrestling is and hated one of the men who was the biggest star when it was actually relevant and didn’t suck.
Overall it just reminded me of the time when the WWF was worth watching and entertaining. What they’ve been doing for over 20 years is why it’s a niche thing with a bunch of no names that the average person has never heard of.
Hulkamania will live forever but professional wrestling is basically dead.
It will never reach the heights that it once had. It’s now just a glorified soap opera and like many other industries such as Hollywood, music and others that have their best days in the rear view mirror.
Hulk was 1 of 1 and will always be missed.

Cool story. While you cashed podcast checks from your ivory tower, Charlie Kirk & TPUSA were boots-on-ground chasing ballots, flipping 2024 red.
Glad you're fine with Dems impeaching Trump & MAGA/MAHA.
You've been a controversy hustler since high school: no wins, all noise.
Ty Simpson was 1 of 10 for 16 yards and an interception on passes that traveled more than 9 yards past the line of scrimmage during the SEC Championship Game.
Here's a breakdown of why Alabama's downfield passing failed against Georgia.

I’m still holding Ty Simpson stock.
Call me crazy. But dude has a negative run game, freshmen tight ends, protection is non existent…
Yea, he looked like hell against Oklahoma, Auburn, and Georgia. They are great defenses.
They got a lot of fixing to do.
@ClintRLamb I’d love to see Alabama start the game and run the first few drives in 2 minute offense. Your thoughts? I know that could potentially put the defense in bad spots. But the offense seems to thrive in 2 minute.
Here’s Erika Kirk saying her husband wanted to save young men like the young man who killed Charlie. And that she forgives him even though he killed her husband. Most powerful moment of the day. Watch and share:
ERIKA KIRK: "After Charlie's assassination, we didn't see violence, we didn't see rioting..."
"We didn't see revolution, instead we saw what my husband always prayed he would see in this country — we saw revival!"
